Desert Leprechaun 5K Run/Walk

🎉 Event Overview

Southern Arizona Roadrunners (SAR) is very pleased to produce this awesome running and walking event in vibrant downtown Tucson in partnership with the iconic Tucson St. Patrick's Day Parade Festival.

☘️ Event Details

This event will take place the morning of the festival on Sunday, March 15, 2026 and will be centered around the Children's Museum and Armory Park.

• Date: March 15, 2026
• Location: 200 S 6th Ave, Tucson, AZ
• Features: Fast and flat courses along the Tucson St. Patrick's Day Parade route.
• Extras: Unique custom finisher medal and shirt for 5K participants, and a free beer for entrants over 21 years old.

🏆 Awards & Swag

• Awards: The 5K will have male and female awards for Top 3 Overall, Top Masters, and Top 3 in 5 year age groups up to 80+.
• Gift Certificates: Awards will include Running Shop Gift Certificates and other St. Paddy's Day themed goodies!
• T-shirts: 5K registrants will receive a really cool, super-soft t-shirt while supplies last.
• Finisher Medals: All 5K finishers will get a super-cool finisher medal.
• Free Beer: All finishers (5K and 1 Mile) 21 & over can get one free beer at the St. Patrick's Day festival. Be prepared to show your ID.
• Parade Ride: The male and female winner of the 5K will each get to ride in the St. Patrick's Day parade in a special vehicle!
