Desert Leprechaun 5K Run/Walk

🍀 Overview of the Event

Southern Arizona Roadrunners (SAR) is very pleased to produce this awesome running and walking event in vibrant downtown Tucson in partnership with the iconic Tucson St. Patrick's Day Parade Festival.

🎉 Event Details

This event will take place the morning of the festival on Sunday, March 15, 2026 and will be centered around the Children's Museum and Armory Park. The event will feature:

• Fast Courses: Courses along the Tucson St. Patrick's Day Parade route.
• Unique Medal: A totally unique, custom finisher medal and shirt for 5K participants.
• Free Beer: A free beer at the festival with your race entry for those over 21 years old.
• Family Fun: Bring your entire family out to run or walk and stay for the amazing parade and festival.

🏆 Awards & Swag

• Awards: The 5K will have male and female awards for Top 3 Overall, Top Masters, and Top 3 in 5 year age groups up to 80+.
• T-Shirts: 5K registrants get a really cool, super-soft t-shirt while supplies last.
• Finisher Medal: All 5K finishers will get a super-cool finisher medal.
• St. Patrick's Goodies: There will be fun St. Patrick's Day related goodies for all.
• Free Beer for Finishers: All finishers (5K and 1 Mile) 21 & over can get one free beer at the St. Patrick's Day festival.
• Parade Winners: The male and female winner of the 5K will each get to ride in the St. Patrick's Day parade in a special vehicle!
