The MARC 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run

🎉 Event Overview

Come join us to celebrate the Grand Opening of The MARC (The Midcoast Athletic & Recreation Complex) on Brunswick Landing! We are running our Inaugural 5K Road Race and 1-Mile Fun Run to kick off a fun day of festivities celebrating the opening of the Town of Brunswick's brand new Pickleball Courts, Skate Park, and Walking Trail.

• Awards Ceremony: After the race awards ceremony, there will be a skate-park demonstration by Professional Skateboarders Cody McEntire and Julia Brueckler.
• Activities: Join in on the Pickleball Scramble, and family-friendly events including food trucks and a bounce house.
• Course Features: The course will start and finish at the new recreation complex. It's flat, it's fast, and it's for a great cause!
• T-Shirt Notice: Registrations after June 1st cannot be guaranteed a T-Shirt.

📅 Race Details

Race Packet Pickup will be held on Friday, June 21st, 2024 from 4:00pm-7:00pm at the Brunswick Parks and Recreation Center, 220 Neptune Drive, Brunswick, ME 04011. Packets can also be picked up the morning of the race at the Registration/Check-in Table beginning at 7:30am.

• Pickup Location: Brunswick Parks and Recreation Center, 220 Neptune Drive, Brunswick, ME 04011.
• Morning Pickup: Packets available at the Registration/Check-in Table from 7:30am before the race.
• RAIN DATE: 6/23/2024 at 8:30am.

🚗 Parking Information

We are asking our runners to park in the old Wayfair Building parking lot which is located at 46 Burbank Avenue, Brunswick ME 04011. The parking lot is directly across the road from the back of the Rec Center. Follow the path around the building to the front parking lot for the registration table and start/finish line. Thank you!
