🌟Event Overview

Join the Oviedo Run Club and our community in continuing the Rising tradition.

• Location: First United Methodist Church.
• Course: Follows the Cross Seminole Trail for a distance of either a 5k or 10k.
• Kids' Fun Run: Under a mile along a beautiful canopied road.

💖Community Impact

Each year, The Rising has raised thousands of dollars to be put back into our local charities, like HopeHelps, Inc. and The Oviedo Preservation Project.

• School Participation: Area schools can sign up as teams to win grants for the largest schools in attendance.
• Registration Purpose: Your registration helps fund our mission of giving.

Cash awards are given to the top 3 male and female finishers for the 5k and 10k distances.

• Finishers Awards: Awards for age group winners (5 year increments).
• Motivation: Awards are sure to be worth running for.

The Oviedo Run Club is committed to putting on a green event.

• Eco-Friendly Practices: Use of compostable water cups.
• Recycling: On-site recycling during the event.
• Race Packets: Full of usable items, not to be wasted.
