🌟 Race Overview

• LOCATION: The course begins in front of the Historic Sanctuary at First United Methodist Church.
• ROUTE: Follows the Cross Seminole Trail for an out and back distance of either a 5k or 10k.
• KIDS' FUN RUN: Under a mile, along the beautiful canopied road.

• CHARITY: Each year, The Rising has raised thousands of dollars to be put back into our local charities, like HopeHelps, Inc. and The Oviedo Preservation Project.
• SCHOOL TEAMS: Area schools are encouraged to sign up as teams to win grants for the largest schools in attendance.
• MISSION: Your registration helps fund our mission of giving.

🏆 Awards and Recognition

• CASH AWARDS: Given to the top 3 male and female finishers for the 5k and 10k distances.
• FINISHER AWARDS: Awards and age group winners (5 year increments) are also given.
• WORTH RUNNING FOR: A sure to be worth running for.
