💙 RACE MISSION

The Always Wear Your Seatbelt Foundation invites you to join us in raising seatbelt safety awareness at our upcoming 2025 “Lace-Up to Buckle-Up” 5K Walk/Run. This is our annual fundraiser, and 100% of the net proceeds go towards furthering our mission. The AWYS mission is to save lives through raising awareness and educating teens to Always Wear Your Seatbelt, if not for yourself, for Laura & Eddie. Our foundation was founded in memory of Laura Grant and Eddie Culberhouse, who lost their lives in a tragic car accident on February 6, 2011. 💰 ENTRY FEES

• Adult Entry Fee for In-person or Virtual: Thru September 30th - $35.00: October 1st - October 17th - $40.00: October 18th - $45.00
• Youth Entry Fee (Ages 13 - 19) for In-person or Virtual: Thru September 30th - $20.00: October 1st - October 17th - $30.00: Race Day $35.00
• Youth Entry Fee (Ages 7-10) for In-person, Virtual, or Scooters: Thru October 18 - $10.00
• FREE Youth Entry Fee (0 - 6) for In-person: *Does not include shirt. Race shirts may be purchased for $8.

*Virtual & In-Person Entry fees for Adults and Youth paid entries will include a unisex super soft blend race t-shirt, a bib number, and your race packet shipping!

📦 RACE PACKET PICKUP AND VIRTUAL MAILING INFORMATION AND DEADLINES FOR EVENT

• Packet Pickup: October 16, 2025, 4 - 7 pm
• Location: Vanbarry's Public House: 4120 S. Orange Ave., Orlando, FL 32806
• If you are joining us virtually, to guarantee that you receive all your race items by race day (t-shirt, bib), you must register by October 1, 2025!
• If you register after October 1, 2025 we cannot guarantee your race packet will be received before race day.

This race will award the top Overall male and female finisher + the top 3 in each group listed below broken out by gender:

• 13-19

❓ FAQ's:

• Is the 5k in-person? Yes! We will be live and in-person, with a virtual option for those who want to participate but can't be with us in Orlando.
• Where do I park? Parking is free and available at Cornerstone Charter Academy and surrounding businesses. There is also street parking available.
• How do I participate virtually? If you can't be in Orlando for the event, you are invited to select your own starting line, whether it's your neighborhood street, your school track, a treadmill, or another route that suits you. It’s simple! Just download the RACEJOY app, select our 5k, choose where and when to run, track your run with the app, and your results will automatically upload to our site!
• How long is the course? The 5K is 3.1 miles.

🕒 RACE TIMING AND RESULTS

• How will I be timed? Yes! All registered in-person runners will be timed electronically and posted within minutes of crossing the finish line.
• How will I get results? The results for in-person will be scored and uploaded to the race website as participants cross the finish line and can be seen under the website tab labeled “Results.”
• Who gets a T-shirt? Only pre-registered runners who successfully complete their registration and payment processes seven weekdays before the race are guaranteed a free race t-shirt.
• What's included in my race packet? All pre-registered participants will receive the official 2025 race bib and t-shirt.
