Celebration 10K & 5K Pancake Run and Walk presented by the Rotary Club of Celebration

DESCRIPTION

• Event History: This Celebration Rotary Run/Walk has established itself in the 22-plus years that it has been held as a premier event within the Central Florida community, attracting hundreds of participants each year.
• Pancake Run: Known as the ever most popular “The Pancake Run,” the event features separate 10k and 5k courses for runners and walkers of all ages.
• Course: Participants will enjoy a fast, flat route through beautiful Celebration, Florida, on a USTAF-certified course.
• Virtual Option: If you cannot join us in person, we are offering a Virtual option as well!

AFTER THE RUN

• Pancakes: After your run, come enjoy Pancakes + music and fun at the Celebration Firehouse!
• Included: Pancakes are included with your registration and friends and family can enjoy them with you for a small additional fee!

BENEFICIARY

• Local Chapter: The Rotary Club of Celebration is a local chapter of Rotary International, a global network of community service organizations.
• Mission: The Club is committed to serving the community through various charitable initiatives, fostering goodwill, and promoting ethical practices.
• Scholarships: The Rotary Club of Celebration has distributed tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships, and proceeds from the Run/Walk are distributed to various local charities.

EVENT TIMELINE

• 6:30 am: Race-day Registration and Packet Pickup opens.
• 7:15 am: 10K Start begins.
• 7:30 am: 5K Fun Run & Walk begins.
• 9:00 am: 10K Awards Ceremony.

RACE AMENITIES

• Tech Tee: A Unisex Tech tee for each race!
• Finisher Medal: Finisher Medal for all 5K and 10K participants!
• Pancake Breakfast: A FREE admission ticket to the Celebration Rotary Pancake breakfast following the race!
• Post-Race Snacks: Water, replacement drink, and post-race snacks.

• Virtual Finisher Medal: Finisher Medal for all 5K and 10K participants!

REGISTRATION FEES

• 5K Fee: $35.00 through October 1st.
• 10K Fee: $45.00 through October 1st.
• Virtual Fees: $55.00 through November 21st [race entry includes shipping fee].
• Payment: Race day registration payment will be accepted via credit card payments through RunSignup only if races are not sold out!

RACE T-SHIRTS

• Sizes: All participants who register for the 5K and 10K races will receive a unisex tech tee shirt! Sizes are guaranteed through November 7, 2026.

FINISHER MEDALS

• Custom Medal: All PAID 5K and 10K participants will receive a custom Celebration 5K and 10K Pancake Run and Walk themed finisher medal.

RACE AWARDS

• Top Finishers: Awards will go to the top 3 overall male and female finishers in the 5K and 10K races.
• Age Categories: Awards for the top 3 men and women in each age category: 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.

WEATHER

• Rain or Shine: Races will be held rain or shine, however, if there is severe weather in the area the race start may be delayed or cancelled.
• Non-Refundable: As a reminder, registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

SAFETY RULES

• Prohibited Items: In order to ensure safety of all runners, roller skates and in-line skates are prohibited from the race course.
• Strollers: Jogging strollers are permitted but must start in the back.

PACKET PICKUP INFORMATION

• Early Pickup: EARLY Packet Pick-Up will take place on Friday, November 20th from at the Stetson University building located at 800 Celebration Avenue, Celebration, FL 34747 from 7am - 7pm.
• Race Day Pickup: Race Day Packet Pickup will take place at the Celebration Fire House 72 beginning at 6:30 am.

RACE DAY PARKING

• Parking Location: Is available across from the Celebration Firehouse located at 595 Celebration Place.
• Direction Signs: There will be parking signs directing you to the lot.
