Event Description
- Event Name: 3rd annual Fun Run Rudolph
- Type: A family fun run, not a race.
- Purpose: To bring families together during the Christmas season while promoting personal fitness.
- Fun Element: Runners/Walkers will follow Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer through a 2-mile course to Santa Claus.
Post-Race Activities
- Finish Line Treat: Participants will receive a chocolate chip cookie.
- Photo Opportunity: Pictures can be taken with Santa Claus.
- Wish Lists: Participants can fill out and leave their Christmas wish lists with Santa.
- Photography: Bring your own camera for personalized Christmas photos.
Race Location and Check-In
- Location: Veterans Park, 7305 Highway 119, Alabaster, Alabama.
- Time: Event begins at 4:00 PM.
- Check-In: From 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the start/finish line.
- Pre-Run Briefing: Scheduled for 3:45 PM.
Swag and Awards
- Wristband: Provides access to a chocolate chip cookie and pictures with Santa.
- Finisher’s Medal: All participants will earn a medal upon course completion.
- Raffle Ticket: Participants receive a ticket for Christmas presents given away after the event.
- Inclusion: Children 2 and under are free with a paying participant.
Course Description
- Distance: Approximately 2 miles.
- Course Layout: Start and finish line at the same location.
- Accessibility: Accommodates all ages and abilities, including strollers and wheelchairs.
- Signage: Course will be clearly marked.
Aid Stations
- Location: One aid station will be set up at the start/finish line.
- Water: Provided for all participants.
- Restrooms: Available near the start/finish line.
