Fun Run Rudolph

🎄 Event Description

• Christmas Spirit: Don’t you wish it was already Christmas time? So do we! Christmas certainly is one of the most wonderful times of the year!
• Community Event: We are inviting families and individuals of all ages to join us for the 3rd annual Fun Run Rudolph! This is a family fun run, not a race.
• Enjoyable Pace: Participants can run as fast or as slow as they would like. This event has been created to bring families together during the Christmas season while promoting personal fitness.
• Guided by Rudolph: Runners/Walkers will start the course by following Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, leading them through the 2-mile course.

🎅 Race Location and Check-In

• Event Venue: Fun Run Rudolph will be held at Veterans Park in Alabaster, Alabama at 4:00 PM.
• Check-In Details: Race day check-in will be at the start/finish line from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM.
• Pre-Run Briefing: A pre-run briefing will take place at 3:45 PM.
• Parking and Facilities: There will be plenty of parking and access to restrooms near the pavilion located behind the bathrooms next to the pickleball courts.

🏅 Swag and Awards

• Participant Wristband: Participants will receive a wristband at check-in, which serves as their ticket for a chocolate chip cookie and pictures with Santa.
• Finisher’s Medal: All participants will earn a finisher’s medal upon completion of the course at this year’s event.
• Raffle Ticket: Participants will also receive a raffle ticket for some Christmas presents to be given away after the last runner/walker completes the course!
• Family Friendly: So, come on out to this family friendly event! Children 2 and under are free with a paying participant.

🏃‍♂️ Course Description

• Course Layout: The start and finish line for the course will be at the same location, with a total distance of approximately 2 miles.
• Accessibility: The course will accommodate strollers and wheelchairs, welcoming participants of all ages and abilities.
• Clear Markings: The course will be clearly marked to guide participants along the route.

💧 Aid Stations

• Aid Station: We will have one aid station set up at the start/finish line during the event.
• Water Provided: Water will be provided for all participants.
• Restroom Access: Restrooms are also located near the start/finish line for convenience.
