Don't want to run or wake up on Saturday morning? You can still support the Kid One Transport Trick or Trot 5K with the virtual option.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: October 17, 2024
• Location: Back Forty Brewing
• Details: Pick up your race materials before the day of the event.
• Plan Ahead: Make sure to arrive during the scheduled pickup times!

👻 About the Race

• Spirit: Get into the Halloween spirit at the 11th Annual Trick or Trot 5K benefiting Kid One Transport!
• Course: The event traditionally takes place through the streets of the Lakeview District in downtown Birmingham, Alabama.
• Family Friendly: Runners of all ages, strollers, and pets are welcome!
• Extras: Includes a costume contest (social media) & t-shirt.

🏅 Awards

The Trick or Trot 5K awards will honor the top three male and female runners overall, as well as the top male and female masters. Additionally, the top three male and female finishers in each age group will be recognized. The age groups are divided as follows:

• Categories: 0-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over
• Team Awards: Biggest Team (Community and Corporate), Most Spirited Team (Best Costumes)
• Individual Awards: Most Spirited Individual (Best Costume), Most Spirited Kid (Best Costume)
• Special Recognition: Most Spirited Pet & Owner (Best Costume)

Costumes are not required to participate but are encouraged - the more spirited the better!

❤️ About the Cause

In the event that the Trick or Trot 5K cannot run as planned in person, all registrants will continue as virtual race participants. All proceeds from the Trick or Trot 5K benefit Kid One Transport and will raise funds to provide transportation to medical care for children and expectant mothers throughout Alabama.
