Raffle Run

Event Description

• Event: The 2nd annual Raffle Run is a go! Our goal is to motivate you to do your best while being generous to runners.
• Prizes: Almost $3000 worth of prizes will be given away at Raffle Run, with no strings attached!
• Participants: Runners/walkers of all ages are welcome, and even the slowest runner can win BIG!
• Raffle Tickets: There is no limit to the number of raffle tickets you can earn based on your effort.

How It Works

• Wristband: Runners will receive a Raffle Run wristband at packet pick-up which must be visible at all times.
• Duration: Runners have 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete as many laps as possible.
• Laps: The more laps you complete, the more chances you have to win prizes. Each completed lap earns a raffle ticket.
• Present for Prizes: Participants must be present and show their matching ticket during the prize drawing.

Schedule

• 5:30 AM - 6:30 AM: Packet Pickup
• 6:45 AM: Pre-race briefing
• 7:00 AM: Race begins
• 8:30 AM: Race cutoff
• 8:45 AM: Raffle drawing

• #3: $600 Cash Money
• #4: 10 Ounces of Pure Silver (Approximately $400 Value)
• #5: 1/10 Ounce of Pure Gold (Approximately $500 Value)

Course Description

• Route: The approximate 1.25-mile course will wind through Veterans Park in Hoover, AL.
• Surface: The course consists of both paved surfaces and trails.
• Markings: The course will be well marked for participants.
• Scenery: Enjoy the beautiful setting of Veterans Park while running!

Packet Pickup

• Race Day: No early packet pickup: collect packets at the start/finish line.
• Location: Pavilion by the playgrounds at Veterans Park.
• Wristbands: Runners will receive a custom wristband for identification and raffle ticket collection.
• Items: Final raffle ticket and finisher's medal will be given upon returning the wristband.

Swag

• Finisher's Medal: All runners will receive a medal upon completing their last lap.
• Raffle Tickets: Earn unlimited raffle tickets for chances to win prizes.

Aid Station

• Hydration: One water station will be available at the start/finish line.
• No Food: Only prizes will be provided: no food will be available at this event.

Refunds

• No Refunds: We do not offer refunds for this competition.
• Transfers: You may transfer your entry to another runner if needed.
• Deferrals: You can defer your entry to next year’s event by contacting us.
