We are very excited to announce the 18th Annual Rumpshaker 5K to be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Regions Field, Birmingham, AL. Without your support, we would not be able to carry out our mission to raise awareness and provide hope and support to those fighting this disease.

🏃 Rumpshaker 5K In-Person Event

• Chip-timed: The in-person 5K race participants will be chip-timed.
• Team Discount: In-person 5K participants will be eligible for the $5 team discount.
• Early Registration: $5 off Team Discount Ends Saturday, March 21st.
• Encouragement: We encourage you to take advantage of one of the new categories if you or your team members are not comfortable with the in-person event.

🌐 Rumpshaker 5K Virtual Event

• Flexible Option: This is an excellent option for those who would be more comfortable completing the Rumpshaker 5K on their own or with a smaller group.
• Share Photos: You are encouraged to share your photos with us so we can post them on our social media outlets.
• Discount: This category is eligible for a $5 discount for each team member (teams of 5 participants or more).
• Registration Package: You will receive the 5K T-Shirt as part of your registration package.

Dates: Wednesday - Friday, March 25 - 27, 2026 from 11 am - 6 pm.

• Race Day Agenda:
• 6:30 am - Race Day Packet Pickup
• 7:15 am - 5K Registration Closes
• 8:00 am - 5K Run / Walk Starts
• 9:00 am - 1 Mile Fun Run Starts

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 Overall Awards Male/Female based on Gun Time.
• Age Group Awards: 0-9 thru 75+ in 5 Year Age Group Awards based on Chip Time.

🅿️ Parking and Road Closures

• Free Parking: at 1200 5th Ave South, Birmingham, AL 35233.
• Street Closure: 1st Ave S. between 14th St. S. & 16th St. S. (this is the start area).
