Rumpshaker 5K Race Details

We are very excited to announce the 18th Annual Rumpshaker 5K to be held on Saturday, March 27, 2027, at Regions Field, Birmingham, AL. Without your support, we would not be able to carry out our mission to raise awareness and provide hope and support to those fighting this disease.

Event Information

• In-Person Event: The in-person 5K race participants will be chip-timed. In-person 5K participants will be eligible for the $5 team discount along with Virtual 5K (team discounts apply to teams of 5 participants or more).
• $5 Team Discount: Ends Saturday, March 20th. Register early to save.

Race Packet Pickup Information

• Team Captain Packet Pickup: Request Team Packet Pickup [Click Here] before Friday, March 19th.
• Pickup Dates: Wednesday – Friday, March 24th - 26th, 2027, 11:00 am – 6:00 pm at Fleet Feet Sports.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Top 3 Overall Awards Male/Female based on Gun Time
• Age Group Awards: 0-9 thru 75+ in 5 Year Age Group Awards based on Chip Time
• Team Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for most participants, most funds raised overall, and most funds raised per member.
• One Trophy: Fastest Female Team, Fastest Male Team, Fastest Co-Ed Team, Most Team Spirit.

Additional Information

• Bandit Policy: Unregistered runners or walkers are not permitted. Please register to participate.
• Cancellation Policy: No refunds of registration fees. Transfers must be completed by March 20, 2027.
• Strollers: Keep children with you at all times and start at the back of the corrals for safety.
• Donations: Donations can be dropped off on Race Day near the inflatable colon from 7:00 am - 8:00 am.
