Event Overview
- Announcement: We are very excited to announce the 18th Annual Rumpshaker 5K.
- Support: Without your support, we would not be able to carry out our mission to raise awareness and provide hope and support to those fighting this disease.
Participation Options
- In-Person Event: The in-person 5K race participants will be chip-timed. Participants will be eligible for a $5 team discount.
- Virtual Event: Formerly known as "My Rump is Sleeping In," this category allows you to complete the run on your own schedule.
- Discount: $5 off Team Discount Ends Saturday, March 21st. Register early to save.

Wednesday - Friday, March 25 - 27, 2026, 11am - 6pm at Fleet Feet - Birmingham, 3060 Healthy Way, Suite 100, Birmingham, AL 35243.
Race Day Information
- Date: March 28, 2026
- Packet Pickup: Starts at 6:30am, Registration closes at 7:15am.
- Start Times: 5K Run/Walk at 8:00am, 1 Mile Fun Run at 9:00am.
Awards
- Overall Awards: Top 3 Overall Male/Female based on Gun Time.
- Age Group Awards: Based on Chip Time for ages 0-9 thru 75+.
- Team Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for various categories.
- Special Awards: Fastest Female, Male, Co-Ed Team and Most Team Spirit.

If anyone needs to drop off donations, they can look for Beth Sanders near the inflatable colon on Saturday from 7am - 8am.
Policies
- Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds for registration fees.
- Bandit Policy: Running without registration is not permitted in the 5K.
