Inua 5k Run and Walk

Join us February 22, 2025 in Blue Jacket Park for our 9th annual Inua 5k to support Inua Partners in Hope.

📅 About the Race

• Support: We are looking forward to having your support and participation in the 9th annual Inua 5k to raise money for Inua Partners in Hope.
• Participation: Join us IN-PERSON or VIRTUALLY this year!
• Celebration: We are looking forward to another fun Finish Line Celebration.
• Impact: Over the past eight years, this event has raised more than $200,000 to support Inua Partners in Hope.

🗓️ Race Schedule

• Date: Saturday, February 22, 2025
• 5k Start: 7:30am
• Awards Ceremony: 8:30am
• Kids' Run: FREE at 9:00am

📍 Location, Directions, and Parking

• Start/Finish Area: Near the intersection of Robin Road and Upper Park Road in Baldwin Park.
• Address: Use 2330 Robin Road, Orlando, FL for GPS directions.
• Parking: Available along Upper Park Road, Lower Park Road, and in the public parking lot off General Rees Avenue.

🏁 Course

• Loop Course: Begins and ends in Lower Blue Jacket Park.
• Route: Runners will follow the sidewalk within Blue Jacket Park and around Lake Baldwin’s paved trail.
• Prohibitions: Bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, and dogs are prohibited.
• Headphones: Use is discouraged for safety.

• Early Registration: Now thru October 31, 2024: $35
• Standard Registration: November 1, 2024 thru February 21, 2025: $40
• Race Day Registration: February 22, 2025: $45 (No discounts available).
• Virtual 5k: $30

🎽 Packet Pick-Up

• Location: Reeves Center: 1506 Lake Highland Drive, Building 200: Orlando, FL 32803
• Dates: Thursday, February 20 AND Friday, February 21 from 3pm - 6pm.
• Race Day Pick-Up: Begins at 6:00am at the start line.

👩‍👧 Strollers

• Welcome: Jogging strollers are permitted: please start behind all runners.
• Right of Way: Stroller operators must yield to runners.

🚶‍♂️ Walker Friendly

• Encouragement: Walkers are welcome and encouraged to participate!
• Line-Up: Please allow runners to line up in front of walkers.

📊 Results

• Availability: Results will be available at the race.
• Chip Timing: Runners and walkers wearing the designated chip are included in the results.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Top three overall males and females will receive awards.
• Age Group Awards: Top three in each age group.
• Kids’ Run: Participants receive a medal.

👕 T-Shirts and Medals

• Participation: All participants receive a t-shirt and finisher's medal.
• Kids' Run: Free, with a medal: shirts available for $10.

👶 Kids' Run

• Age Groups: Children divided into age groups with distances from 400 yards to 1 mile.
• Registration: Free for children 11 and under.

🌍 Virtual 5k

• Participation: Register as a virtual runner and run your own 5k anywhere.
• Packet Pickup: T-shirts and medals available during regular pick-up times or can be shipped for $7.50.

• Create a Page: Your own fundraising page or join a team to raise money for Inua Partners in Hope.

👥 Teams

• Discount: Teams of 5 or more receive a $5 discount per runner.
• Fundraising: Incentives for top fundraising teams: corporate teams with over $2,500 raise can have their logo on race shirts.
