🏳️‍🌈 Union County Pride Color Run

The Union County Board of County Commissioners is excited to invite all residents to the inaugural Union County LGBTQ Pride 5K and Fun Color Run at Oak Ridge Park on Saturday, June 8th. In addition to the race, residents can enjoy family-friendly activities and explore various resource tables from Union County departments and our community partners.

 

🎨 What is a Color Run?

• Colorful Experience: Participants run or walk along a designated route while being showered with eco-friendly colored powders.
• Visual Impact: Wear light-colored clothing to enhance the visual impact of the colors and create vibrant photos and videos.
• Date and Location: Saturday, June 8th at Oak Ridge Park - 136 Oak Ridge Road in Clark.
• Timing and Events: Check-in opens at 8:00am, 5K starts at 9:00am, Fun Run at 9:15am.

👕 Registration Details

• Early Birds: First 100 registrants receive a free PRIDE 5K and Fun Color Run t-shirt.
• Pricing: Registration for both races is $25 per person, increasing to $30 on the day of the event.
• Professional Timing: The 5K race is certified and timed by Split Second Racing for an accurate race experience.
• Activities: Enjoy resource tables and family-friendly activities during the event.

• Flag Raising: Join the event on Monday, June 3rd at the Union County Courthouse.
• Speaker: Bernie Wagenblast, a transportation journalist and key figure in the community.
