Those crazy cows are back for the 19th annual Chick-fil-A 10K/5K along with the Running of the Cows Fun Run! The 2026 event features the scenic Mariners' Museum, Lions Bridge and lots of family fun in Newport News, VA. Join us for a great run and to Eat More Chicken!
Race Information
- Courses: All 3 races offer fast, all-paved courses.
- Locations: The 10k and 5k take you through the Mariners' Museum, Lion's Bridge, Riverside Drive and along the James River.
- Certification: This USATF certified course is smooth, easy to follow.

Post-Race Activities
After your race stick around for the Post Party and Family Fun Zone, filled with activities for the whole family.
Community Support
Once again, we’ve partnered with the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank to help provide meals to our community. Runners can donate to the Foodbank during online registration. Donations will also be accepted at Packet Pickup.
