Hoodlebug 5K Run and Fun Walk

Event Overview

We are looking forward to the 2026 Hoodlebug 5K Run & Fun Walk to be held Sunday, September 13, 2026. This is a race that has been held for years as part of the Homer City Business Association's Annual Fall Festival.

The race starts at 4:30 PM on the bridge on Main Street near Floodway Park, but plan to come early to enjoy the Festival activities.

Race Details

• Type: Out and back race held mostly on the nearby Hoodlebug Trail.
• Participants: Runners and walkers are welcome.
• Family Pricing: Available, so bring the whole family.

Timing and Results

New this year: Chip timing by Gingerbread Timing. Live results will be uploaded every 30 seconds during the race at RunSignUp.

Awards

• Top Performers: Awards are available to the top three males and females.
• Age Groups: Awards for the top three males and females in five-year age groups starting at ages 12 and under through 70+.
• No Walker Awards: No separate walker awards are given.

Registration Information

• Race Day Registration: From 3:00 to 4:15 at Floodway Park on the west end of Homer City, PA.
• Pre-Registration: Encouraged for all participants.
• T-Shirts: Guaranteed to those who register by September 1st. Available after that date and on race day only as supplies last.
• Weather Policy: The race is held rain or shine. No deferrals.
