🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: The Kiski Valley Turkey Trot 5K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run is a community event for the whole family to enjoy this Thanksgiving!
• Participants: This race is for the serious or the casual runners or walkers of all ages.
• Family Outing: It has become a great family outing to attend before the family gathering for a holiday feast.
• Location: We are offering an on-site race that is digitally timed by Miles for Smiles on our 5K certified out and back course at Kunkle Park, Apollo PA.

🏅 In-Person Race Details

• 5K Start Time: The 5K in-person race begins at 9am and departs and ends at Kunkle Park, Apollo PA.
• Timing: The 5K is digitally timed and all race awards will be given at the closing ceremony which begins when most runners complete the course.
• Awards: You must be present to receive awards!
• Fun Run: The 1 Mile Fun Run takes place within the park and starts shortly after the 5K, and is not a timed event.

🍏 Amenities

• Refreshments: Snacks and water will be provided.
• Packet Pickup: Race packet pickups will be available the evening before the race as well as on race morning.
• Smoother Experience: Pick up the night before makes race day smoother!

📋 Important Information

• Health Guidelines: As public health guidelines are subject to change, Kiski Valley Turkey Trot reserves the right to move some or all on-site registrants to the Virtual race should CDC and PA restrict/reduce the number of runners allowed.
• Refund Policy: All registrations are non-refundable.
• Charity Event: Please, remember that this is a charity event.
• Virtual Participation: Even if you are moved from in-person to virtual, you will receive your shirt and are eligible for the virtual contests described below.
