Kiski Valley Turkey Trot Overview

• Event Type: The Kiski Valley Turkey Trot 5K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run is a community event for the whole family to enjoy this Thanksgiving!
• Participants: This race is for serious or casual runners or walkers of all ages.
• Community Gathering: It has become a great family outing to attend before the holiday feast.
• Timing: The race is digitally timed by Miles for Smiles on a certified out and back course at Kunkle Park, Apollo PA.

Race Details

• Start Times: The 5K in-person race begins at 9am and departs and ends at Kunkle Park, Apollo PA.
• Awards: All race awards will be given at the closing ceremony, which begins when most runners complete the course. You must be present to receive awards!
• Fun Run: The 1 Mile Fun Run takes place within the park and starts shortly after the 5K. The 1 Mile is not a timed event.
• Refreshments: Snacks and water will be provided.

Packet Pickup

• Pickup Options: Race packet pickups will be available the evening before the race as well as on race morning.
• Benefit: Picking up the night before makes race day smoother!
• Health Guidelines: Kiski Valley Turkey Trot reserves the right to move some or all on-site registrants to the Virtual race should CDC and PA restrict/reduce the number of runners allowed.
• Refund Policy: All registrations are non-refundable. Please, remember that this is a charity event.

Additional Information

• Virtual Participation: Even if you are moved from in-person to virtual, you will receive your shirt and are eligible for the virtual contests.
