Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® – Alpha Gamma Eta Omega Chapter is proud to present our 3rd Annual Orange Peel to Pavement 5K Run/Walk, a signature community event rooted in purpose, wellness, and impact.

Chapter Background

• Chapter Details: The 157th chartered chapter in the North Atlantic Region, nestled in the heart of the beautiful Hudson Valley.
• Leadership: Alpha Gamma Eta Omega continues to soar under the award-winning leadership of President Rasheena Wilson.
• Commitment: Guided by our commitment to Soaring F.I.R.S.T., we remain dedicated to uplifting our community through Sisterhood, Service, and Scholarship.

Race Purpose

• Aim: This year’s Orange Peel to Pavement 5K Run/Walk aims to raise awareness around mental health.
• Support: Supporting college scholarships for graduating high school seniors in Orange County, NY.
• Community Impact: We help sustain the meaningful community programs that make a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.

• Date: Saturday, September 12, 2026.
• Location: Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Montgomery, NY.
• Registration: Begins at 8:30 AM.
• Atmosphere: This event offers something for everyone—including music, food, and a vibrant, family-friendly atmosphere.
