The Mile, presented by Pacesetter Sports, will be held on Saturday, July 4th at Indiana State University’s Memorial Stadium.
Race Details
- Date: July 4th every year
- Location: Starts 1 mile north of the Stadium, on Brown Blvd and finishes by the Stadium grounds
- Proceeds: Fund the Lace it Up Kids Running Program of the Wabash Valley Road Runners
- Registration Deadline: Register by Sunday, JUNE 28 at 11:59PM TO RECEIVE A T-SHIRT!
Start Times
- 1st heat: Females @ 8 a.m.
- 2nd heat: Males @ 8:30 a.m.
- 3rd heat: Walkers and Kids Running Program @ 9 a.m.
Awards
- Awards Given: Overall awards, age group awards, and walker awards
- Age Groups: Based on 5-year age groups
- Important Note: IF YOU ARE SIGNED UP AS A WALKER, PLEASE DO NOT RUN!
- Fairness: It wouldn’t be fair for someone to run part of the race and beat out a competitive walker.
