Cross Country Racing for Students

Cross country style racing open to all Webster Groves elementary and middle school students!

Schedule of Meet (approx.)

• 12:15pm: Grades K/1st/2nd Girls (1 Mile)
• 12:30pm: Grades K/1st/2nd Boys (1 Mile)
• 12:45pm: Grades 3rd/4th Girls (1.5 Miles)
• 1:05pm: Grades 3rd/4th Boys (1.5 Miles)
• 1:25pm: Grades 5th/6th Girls (1.5 miles)
• 1:45pm: Grades 5th/6th Boys (1.5 Miles)
• 2:05pm: Grades 7th/8th Girls 3k (1.89 Miles)
• 2:30pm: Grades 7th/8th Boys 3k (1.89 Miles)

Event Details

• Arrival: Please find the “check in” table when you arrive to pay your entry fee, and get your bib and shirt. Family members are welcome and encouraged to watch from several different locations off the course.
• Weather: In case of inclement weather, please check the Statesmen Sports website, Instagram (@coachpetter) or Twitter (@wghsxc) after 7 a.m. on October 10th to confirm event status.
• Parking: Parking is limited. Please consider carpooling with other families.
• Athletic Trainer: An athletic trainer will be present in case of an injury. If needed, you can indicate any health concerns (ex. Allergies, asthma) to your child’s gym teacher or the trainer on site so they can be aware.

Concessions and Awards

• Concessions: Snacks & drinks will be available for sale / each athlete will receive a coupon for free Icee Pop!
• Awards: The top 10 finishers in each race will receive a medal!
