• 1 Mile Run/Walk: 7:30 am
• 5K Run: 8:00 am

📋 Event Information

The Children's Recovery Center is a non-profit Child Advocacy center serving the children of Horry and Georgetown Counties. It is our mission to provide treatment and effective advocacy for children suspected of having suffered sexual abuse and physical abuse.

• Community Partners: Collaborate to secure the best outcomes.
• Prevention & Education: Focus on community involvement.
• Status: We are a 501c3 organization.

🎉 Fundraising Event

The Children's Recovery Center 5K Run/Walk is a fundraiser for the Children's Recovery Center. All proceeds will benefit the children of Horry and Georgetown Counties who come to the Children's Recovery Center. This event is designed to be a "family friendly" event in which young or old are welcomed to participate.

📅 Schedule & Packet Pickup

Friday, August 22:

• Location: On The 1/2 Shell - 4500 Highway 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576
• Time: From 5-8 pm
• Activities: Pick up your race packets, register, enjoy dinner, and win raffle prizes!

Saturday, August 23, 2025: Race Registration at Morse Park Landing

• Packet Pickup: Starts at 7:00 am
• I Mile Run/Walk: 7:30 am (FREE for kids 7 and under)
• 5K Shotgun Start: 8:00 am
• Free Breakfast: For Runners at 9:00 am

💰 Registration Fees

• Adult 5K: $40 (includes race timing and shirt) when registered by August 17, 2025 ($45 after August 16)
• Child 5K (14 and under): $30 (includes race timing and shirt) when registered by August 17, 2025 ($35 after August 17)
• Adult 1 Mile: $25 ($30 after August 17)
• Child 1 Mile: $15 ($20 after August 17), FREE for kids ages 7 and under
