Freedom 5K Run for the Wreath Fun Run/Walk

🎉 Event Overview

Join us for our second run of the "We Run This Town" fun run/walk series on July 4th for our Annual Freedom 5K Fun Run at Heritage Park. Bring out the whole family and don't forget to tell all your friends!

Main Street Gardnerville has partnered with Wreaths Across America to honor all 225 Military Veterans laid to rest at Garden Cemetery. This year $5.00 from every registration will go towards purchasing a wreath for these Veterans.

💰 Pre-Registration Fees

• Runners 10 & Under: FREE
• Runners 11 & Up: $25.00 $35 DAY OF REGISTRATION
• Runners Military/Veterans: $20.00 $25 DAY OF REGISTRATION
• Virtual Race: $20.00

⏰ Race Details

• Registration Begins: 7:00am
• Location: The run will start and finish at Heritage Park in Gardnerville on the Ezell Street side of the park. (1447 Courthouse Alley)
• Race Begins: 8:00am... RAIN or SHINE!
• Walker Guidelines: We recommend all walkers stay in the middle of the pack and those with strollers or leashed dogs at the back.

🐕 Dog Participation

Dogs are welcome to join the fun: please make sure they are not aggressive, are current on their vaccinations, and are child/dog friendly. ALL DOGS MUST BE ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES AND WILL BE POSITIONED AT THE BACK OF THE STARTING PACK.

• Prizes: 1st, 2nd & 3rd place finishers will receive a trophy.
• All Participants: All participants will receive running medals.

• Concert: Carson Valley Pops Orchestra concert starts at 11:00am.
