Carson Valley Trails Run the Valley 5k, 10k and Family 2k

🏃‍♀️ Registration Information

• Early Registration: Register for the 5k/10k before August 31st to get a t-shirt (2k participants can purchase a t-shirt as an add-on before 8/31).
• Membership Bonus: Non-CVTA members: Registration for the 5k includes a 1-year Individual Membership to the Carson Valley Trails Association - help us grow our organization!

🏞️ Course Info

• New Trail Experience: Come experience the newest of the CVTA trail networks! Tech shirts provided for all 5k and 10k finishers!
• 10k Details: The 10k (6 mile) loop begins at James Lee Park with a .25 mile single track climb before exploring several trails.
• 5k Details: The 5k'ish (3.55 mile) loop also begins at James Lee Park and follows similar trails to the 10k.
• 2k Family Run: The 2k begins at James Lee Park and is family-friendly, suitable for off-road strollers and friendly, leashed dogs.

⏰ Schedule & Packet Pick Up

• Race Bib Pick Up: On-site on race morning.
• Pick Up Time: 7:00-8:15am at James Lee Memorial Park.
• Start Times:
• 8:00am: 10k Begins
• 8:30am: 5k Begins
• 9:30am: 2k Begins

• Parking Info: Free parking is available in the lots at James Lee Memorial Park.

🌦️ Weather Considerations

• October Conditions: The weather can be temperamental in Northern Nevada during October.
• Dress Accordingly: Dress in layers and for warmth.
