Race Announcement

Due to activities surrounding the FIFA World Cup 26™ in Kansas City, the 2026 Hospital Hill Run will be run on an earlier date in May.

Race Overview

• Tradition: Take part in “The Kansas City Running Tradition,” and participate in the Grandfather of all Kansas City Road Races.
• Conquer the Hill: Join the thousands of runners from across the country and the world who have Conquered the Hill!

Participant Experience

• Swag: All participants receive one-of-a-kind swag, including a unique finisher's medal, participant bib, and a commemorative apparel item.

Virtual Participation

• Virtual Race Option: For those wanting to share in the tradition but are unable to attend in person, we offer the Hospital Hill Run Virtual Race option for all three distances.
• Experience: We hope that you can experience everything this event has to offer in person.
• Swag at Home: Continuing to offer our virtual option is our way of helping you share in the joy virtually!
