🔥 Igniting the Flame 5K Run/Walk
"Igniting the Flame" represents Domestic Violence Awareness and aims to reduce domestic violence through community education, keeping the flame burning in our hearts.
🏅 Awards
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place: Men and women in each age group category ranging from 10-79 years.
📦 Packet Pick-Up Location and Times
- Date & Time: Friday, October 11, 2024, 9:30 AM - 1:30 PM
- Location: Restoration and Purpose Community Outreach, 1085 E. Brandon Blvd., Brandon, FL 33511
- Note: Bring a photo ID for packet pick-up, and you can pick up packets for others with a copy of their ID.
🚗 Parking
- Free Parking: Available on site: carpooling is encouraged.
🏃♂️ Race Day Packet Pickup and Registration
- Arrival Time: At least 45 minutes before the race start time for packet pick-up.
- Day-of Registration: Will be available.
🎁 Toiletry or Gift Card Donations
- Donation Request: Travel-sized personal toiletry items or gift cards to support survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and homelessness.

- 6:30 AM - Registration Opens
- 7:20 AM - Anthem, Welcome, Purpose, Butterfly Release
- 7:45 AM - Warmup & Stretch
- 8:00 AM - 5K Run/Walk
- 8:15 AM - 1 Mile Fun Run
- 9:15 AM - Awards/Recognitions Ceremony
👀 Spectators
- Encouragement: Invite friends and family to cheer participants on.
🗺️ Course Route
- 5K Route: One full lap around the park, followed by a second "half" lap.
- 1 Mile Route: Completes the pink-colored lap only.
- Trail Use Note: Trail will be open for regular use: watch for other runners and bikers on the path.
