🏃♂️ ABOUT MARDI GRAS MADNESS
- Date: On Sunday, February 23, 2025, the members of the Santa Clarita Track Club and Westfield Valencia Town Center are proud to present the 15th annual Mardi Gras Madness 5K/10K and Mini Madness 1K.
- Beneficiary: This event benefits Students Off And Running (SOAR) of Santa Clarita.
- Opportunity: SOAR provides a fully supported Los Angeles Marathon training experience to SCV high school youth ages 14-18 at no cost to participants or their families.
- Featured Charity: SOAR is an Official Featured Charity of the 2025 Los Angeles Marathon.
🏞️ EVENT DETAILS
- Fun Run/Walk: Mardi Gras Madness is a premier family fun run / walk centered in the heart of the Santa Clarita Valley.
- Course: The event offers participants a scenic 5K / 10K USATF certified circuit course.
- Features: Enjoy chip timing, custom marathon quality finishers medal, tech T, health and fitness expo, beer garden, food, costume contest, games and giveaways, silent auction, celebrity hosting, and live entertainment.
- Participants: Open to strutters, strollers, and K9 participants as well.
🏁 COURSE INFORMATION
- Certification: MGM is a USATF certified rolling 5K/10K circuit run on paseos.
- Challenge: There are bridge overpasses that will challenge many runners, throughout the City and along the scenic South Fork River Trail.
- Trail Element: Please be advised, there is a dirt equestrian trail element as part of the 10K course from Mile 3.25 Mile 4.85.

📅 EARLY PACKET PICKUP
- Time: Early bib and packet pickup will be available 10:00am-4:00pm Saturday, February 22nd.
- Location: In the Canyon Club courtyard just inside the rear entrance at Valencia Town Center in Valencia close to H&M.
- ID Requirement: Valid ID is required to receive a 2025 - 8 One 8 - Beer Garden Access wristband.

⏰ RACE DAY SCHEDULE
- Check-In/Pre-Registration: 6:30am - 8:00am
- 1K Warm Up: 7:25am
- 1K Start: 7:30am
- 5K/10K Start: 8:00am and Awards Ceremony/Drawing Giveaways: 9:30am
🏆 AWARDS
- Age Group: 1st - 3rd place age group awards in all 5K/10K race divisions.
- Overall Winners: Awards for top three 5K/10K Women & Men Overall winners.
- Team Finishes: Awards for top three Team Finishes.
- Participation: All 5K/10K runners receive a custom finishers medal, t-shirt & goodie bag!
