The Ascent is a 5K + Fun Run/Roll/Push brought to you by The Phoenix Journey.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 About The Phoenix Journey

• Purpose: A Non-Profit group determined to encourage, educate and support those affected with an autoimmune disease of any kind along with the friends and family.
• Community: If you or someone you know is affected by autoimmune disease, you know some days are better than others, and some are just bad.
• Courage: Each person shows courage day by day making the decision to face the challenges of the ascent for that day.

🏞️ The Race Details

• Event: The 5k will be a standard 5K race comprised of multiple laps through the beautiful Generation Park.
• Timing: This will be a timed event and awards will be given to the Top 5 Male and Female Finishers.
• Finish Line: However, this is not like any fun run you have done before, because you (YES YOU!) set the finish line.
• Mile Markers: There will be mile markers along the way to keep track of your Ascent.

⏳ Fun Run Information

• Goal: The important thing is to show the courage and determination needed as an affected person, a caregiver, a family member, or friend to make your ascent and be celebrated.
• Time Limit: The time limit for the Fun Run will be 1 hour.
