Course Information
- Course: Fast, flat course in downtown Suffolk
Fluid and Food
- Aid Station: There will be 1 aid station with water at about the 1.5 mile mark.
Amenities & Post-Race
- Participation Perks: All 5K & 1 Mile registered runners will receive a Premium T-Shirt.
- Finishers: All finishers will receive Medals.
- Hospitality: Onsite hospitality & refreshments.
- After-Party: Live band, beer, pizza, snacks, and cold beverages.
Packet Pickups
- Early Pickup: Will be at Momac Brewing Company on Friday, November 8th, 3 PM - 6 PM.
- Race Day Pickup: 7 AM - 7:50 AM for 5K & 7 AM - 9 AM for the mile by the starting area.
Race Times
- 5K Start: The 5K race starts at 8 AM.
- 1 Mile Start: 1 Mile starts at approximately 9:15 AM.
Awards
- 5K Awards: Top 3 overall male and female, and top 3 male and female in age groups (12 & Under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70+).
- Top Walkers: Top 3 male and female walkers will also receive awards.
- 1 Mile Awards: The top 3 males and females in age groups (6 & Under, 7 to 9, 10 to 12, and 13 & Over).
Military Teams
- Competition: Military team competition between different branches.
- Largest Team: Will compete for the largest team title.
- Fastest Team: The top 3 males & females for each service team will count for scoring.
- Eligibility: To be eligible for fastest team, one must have served in that branch: for largest team, you or a family member must have served.
Registration
- Open Registration: Registration will remain open until 7 AM on Race Day.
- Discounts: Strider Plus/Legacy runners receive discounts automatically applied at checkout through Race Day.
- Club Membership: A Club membership discount of $5.00 is available until Race Day.
- Discount Application: Automatically applied on the payment page during registration.
