SPARC presents, our 3rd annual Above the Clouds 5K in honor of Dr. Albert K. Lin.

• Date: May 24, 2025
• Location: Dismal Swamp Canal Trail, Chesapeake, VA
• Purpose: To raise awareness for brain cancer
• Inspiration: Honoring Dr. Albert K. Lin's legacy

🎖️ Participation Details

Please join us for our annual run/walk as we raise awareness to brain cancer and to remember and honor Dr. Albert K. Lin. Dr. Lin continues to inspire us to live our lives to the fullest, and to finish the race, in a manner most worthy of a prize that lasts for eternity.

• Timed Event: Prizes for top finishers
• All Levels Welcome: Open for all fitness levels to run or walk
• Virtual Participation: Option for those who cannot attend in person
• Kids Race: Registration available for the 100 yard dash

👕 Registration Information

A portion of your registration fee will be donated to www.braintumor.org, who unrelentingly invests in, mobilizes, and unites the brain tumor community to discover a cure, deliver effective treatments, and advocate for patients and caregivers.

• Registration Fee: Includes race shirt and finisher medal
• Early Registration Discount: Register before April 24th, 2025
• Shirt Size Guarantee: Availability based on early registration
• Post-Race Festivities: Join us for food for purchase from Flippin' Hangry

📅 Packet Pickup

Packet pickup will be on May 23rd, 2025 from 3:45pm to 8pm at Point 2 Running in Chesapeake.

• Important: THERE IS NO DAY OF RACE PACKET PICKUP
• Virtual Participants: Receive a shirt and finisher medal
• Children's Participation: Special recognition for 100 yard dash completion
