Above the Clouds 5K

Race Overview

SPARC presents our 4th annual Above the Clouds 5K in honor of Dr. Albert K. Lin.

Event Purpose

• Aim: To raise awareness of brain cancer.
• Honor: Remember and celebrate the life of Dr. Albert K. Lin.
• Inspiration: Dr. Lin inspires us to live life to the fullest.
• Legacy: Finish the race in a manner worthy of a lasting prize.

Charity Contribution

A portion of your registration fee will be donated to www.braintumor.org, which works diligently to mobilize the brain tumor community for a cure, effective treatments, and advocacy for patients and caregivers.

Event Details

• Type: Timed 5K event with prizes for top finishers.
• Inclusions: All registrants will receive a race shirt and a finisher medal.
• Open Participation: All fitness levels are welcome to run or walk.
• Virtual Option: Participants can join virtually and receive a shirt and finisher medal.

Child Participation

If you have a little one that would like to run, sign them up for the 100 yard dash. They will receive something special for their completion of the 100 yard dash.

Registration Information

Register before May 6th, 2026 to receive an early registration discount and to guarantee your shirt size! Participants registering after this date may not be guaranteed preferred sizing in their shirt.

Post-Race Celebration

Stay after and join us for a post-race gathering with food available for purchase from Flippin' Hangry and Bear House Coffee.
