Race Overview

SPARC presents, our 4th annual Above the Clouds 5K in honor of Dr. Albert K. Lin.

Event Purpose

• Aim: Raise awareness for brain cancer.
• Inspiration: Remember and honor Dr. Albert K. Lin.
• Legacy: Encouraging all to live their lives to the fullest.
• Message: Finish the race in a manner worthy of an eternal prize.

Charity Support

A portion of your registration fee will be donated to www.braintumor.org, who unrelentingly invests in, mobilizes, and unites the brain tumor community to discover a cure, deliver effective treatments, and advocate for patients and caregivers.

Race Details

• Event Type: Timed 5K with prizes for top finishers.
• All Participants: Race shirt and finisher medal for all registrants.
• Fitness Levels: Open to all, run or walk as we remember Dr. Lin.
• Virtual Option: Participants can join virtually and receive a shirt and medal.

Important Registration Information

• Discount Deadline: Register before May 6th, 2026 for an early registration discount.
• Shirt Sizing: Guarantee your shirt size by registering early.
• Late Registrations: Participants registering after this date may not be guaranteed preferred sizing.
• Children's Event: Sign up little ones for the 100 yard dash for special recognition.

Post-Race Celebration

Stay after and join us for a post race with food available for purchase from Flippin' Hangry and Bear House Coffee.

• Notice: THERE IS NO DAY OF RACE PACKET PICKUP.
