Tidewater Striders Duathlon

🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the Tidewater Striders Duathlon!

This is the 5th Annual Tidewater Striders Duathlon!

🏁 RACES

• Sprint Duathlon: 2 Mile Run - 12.4 Mile Bike - 2 Mile Run
• Novice Sprint Duathlon: For Multi-sport Beginners who have competed in less than 4 multi-sport events, same distance as Sprint, runs at the same time as Sprint, no Age Group awards.
• Kids Mini Duathlon: 1 Mile Run - 5 Mile Bike Ride - 1/2 Mile Run
• Bike Racks: Available and ready race morning by 7am

⏰ TIME LIMITS

• Sprint: The race starts at 7:30 AM.
• Kids Mini: Starts at 9:15 AM.
• Overall Limits: 3-hour time limit for the sprint, 2-hour time limit for the mini.

🚴‍♀️ COURSE

The course is an out-and-back on the closed 2-lane roadway at the Dismal Swamp Trail Park in Chesapeake.

💧 FLUIDS AND FOOD

There will be 2 aid stations: one at the transition area, and one at the one mile run turnaround with Water and Gatorade.

🎉 AMENITIES and POST-RACE

Premium Race Shirts for men and women will be provided, and medals for all Finishers. On-site hospitality and refreshments will be available, with an Awards Ceremony following the race.

🏆 AWARDS

• Sprint Duathlon: Top 3 overall Male and Female and Masters: top 3 males and females in 10-year age groups will receive awards.
• Novice Sprint: Top 3 Overall male and Female in the Novice sprint Duathlon.
• Mini Duathlon: Age Group awards for 9 and under, 10-12, and 13-15.

📝 REGISTRATION

Must Register by June 8th for a guaranteed Race Shirt. Registration will be open until Friday, June 27, 2025 at 9pm. There will be no race day Registration.

📦 PACKET PICKUP

• Early Pickup: At Pedal! Bike Co. Friday 4pm - 6pm.
• Race Day Pickup: Starting at 6:30 am.

Automatically applied at checkout through June 28th.

👥 CLUB MEMBERSHIP DISCOUNTS

A Club membership discount of $5.00 is available up to June 28th. Discounts are automatically applied on the payment page during registration. You should use the account you used to register for the club to apply for this discount. We will also attempt to match on name/date of birth.
