Tidewater Striders Duathlon

🏃‍♂️ Welcome to the Tidewater Striders Duathlon!

🏁 Race Options:

• Sprint Duathlon: 2 Mile Run - 12.4 Mile Bike - 2 Mile Run
• Novice Sprint Duathlon: Same distance as the Sprint, for multi-sport beginners who have competed in less than 4 multi-sport events.
• Kids Mini Duathlon: 1 Mile Run - 5 Mile Bike Ride - 1/2 Mile Run
• Bike Racks: Will be available and ready race morning by 7 AM.

⏰ Time Limits:

• Sprint: The race starts at 7:30 AM.
• Kids Mini: Starts at 9:15 AM.
• Time Limits: 3-hour time limit for the Sprint, 2-hour time limit for the Mini.

🏞️ Course Information:

• Course Type: Out and back on the closed 2-lane roadway at the Dismal Swamp Trail Park in Chesapeake.

💧 Fluids and Food:

• Aid Stations: There will be 2 aid stations.
• Locations: One at the transition area, and one at the one-mile run turnaround.
• Provided: Water and Gatorade will be available.

🎖️ Amenities and Post-Race:

• Shirts: Premium Race Shirts for men and women will be provided.
• Medals: Medals for all finishers.
• Hospitality: On-site hospitality and refreshments.
• Awards Ceremony: Following the race.

🏆 Awards:

• Sprint Duathlon: Top 3 overall Male and Female, Masters, and the top 3 males and females in 10-year age groups will receive awards.
• Novice Sprint: Top 3 Overall male and Female in the Novice sprint Duathlon.
• Mini Duathlon: Age Group awards for 9 and under, 10-12, and 13-15.

📝 Registration:

• Deadline: Must register by June 8th for a guaranteed Race Shirt.
• Open Registration: Until Friday, June 27, 2025, at 9 PM.
• Note: No race day Registration.

📦 Packet Pickup:

• Early Pickup: At Pedal! Bike Co. on Friday from 3 PM - 6 PM.
• Race Day Pickup: Starting at 6:30 AM.

💳 Strider Plus:

• Discount: Automatically applied at checkout through June 28th.

💰 Club Membership Discounts:

• Available Discount: A Club membership discount of $5.00 is available up to June 28th.
• Application: Discounts are automatically applied on the payment page during registration.
• Eligibility: Use the account you registered for the club to apply for this discount.
