🌟 Description

• Charity Event: A charity fundraiser now in its 11th year benefiting local initiatives to improve delivery of mental health care in the Hampton Roads area.
• Course: A certified fast out and back 5K course and a 1-mile Fun Run that courses through the scenic Harbour View area of Suffolk, alongside a golf course and several beautiful lakes.
• Race Bling: An awesome custom short sleeve tech running shirt for the first 250 participants before July 19, 2025. Shirt order will be placed on 07/19/2025 after 12:00 noon.
• Post-Race: Coffee and donuts will be served after the race. Join us for an "After race Meet-Up at MoMac Brewery for $3.10 pints, located at 3228 Academy Ave. Portsmouth, VA 23703.

📍 Race Details

• Starting Point: Towne Bank University, 6009 Harbour View Blvd, Suffolk, VA 23435
• Route: Certified scenic, flat, paved 5K and 1-mile course meanders through neighborhood streets with a water stop and course marshals.
• Benefits: Proceeds from the race will be used by the Chas Foundation to improve access to local mental health care. Board members will be on site to answer questions.
• Pre-Race Pickup: Friday, September 5th, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM at MoMac Brewery, 3228 Academy Ave, Portsmouth, VA 23703.

• 7:30 AM: Race Day Packet Pickup/Registration
• 8:00 AM: Opening Ceremonies
• 8:15 AM: 1-mile Fun run/walk Race
• 8:45 AM: 5K (3.1 miles) Race
• 9:30 AM: Award Ceremony
• 9:45 AM: Finish Line Closes

🏆 Awards

• 5K Awards: The top 3 Overall male and female will receive an award.
• Masters Awards: 1st overall male and female Masters will receive an award.
• Age Group Awards: The top 3 male and female finishers in 10-year age groups: 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70-99 will receive an award.
• Fun Run: There are no awards given in the 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk.
