Get ready to stride with purpose during Domestic Violence Awareness Month!
STOP Domestic Violence Abuse 5K
is a family-friendly community run/walk where men, women, and children come together to raise awareness in the fight against domestic violence. Runners, joggers, and walkers enjoy a healthy, fun-filled event while supporting a worthy cause.
ALL proceeds benefit Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), a non-profit whose mission is to end the crime of domestic violence and empower its survivors. PADV provides professional and empowering support to abused women, men, and children in the City of Atlanta and Fulton and Gwinnett counties.
STOP Domestic Violence Abuse 5K is sponsored by the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office to raise domestic violence awareness and support survivors of domestic violence abuse.
This USATF-Certified 5K paved course is within beautiful Westside Park, Atlanta’s newest park and largest greenspace. Pets and strollers are NOT allowed on the course.
Time limit: 1 hour and 15 minutes – Any participant on the course after the time limit will be asked to vacate the course.
The timing device for this event is RFID time by Performance Race Services. To receive an accurate time, please confirm that race bibs are:
Live results are published within a few minutes of course competition and are chip-to-chip times for crossing the timing pad.
