Cleft Palate Gallop 5K and Fun Walk

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Date: The 16th annual Cleft Palate Gallop 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Sunday, Sept 21, 2025 at 7:30 AM.
• Beneficiary: All profits benefit the UNC Craniofacial Center. Thanks so much for your participation!

📍 Location

• Start Point: The race start location is the Old Well on the UNC-Chapel Hill campus.
• Address: An approximate address is: 180 E. Cameron Ave., Chapel Hill, NC 27514.

🏅 Distances

• 5K Run: Participants can join the 5K run.
• Family Fun Walk: A 1.2 Mile Fun Walk is also available.

🎓 Organization

• Hosting Body: Dental students at the Adams School of Dentistry will host the event.
• Purpose: Magical Moments, a student-led organization, aims to support patients of the Craniofacial Center.
• Proceeds: All proceeds will directly support the UNC Craniofacial Center.

📝 Registration

• Registration Cost: Both the 5K and the Fun Walk cost $20: register early for guaranteed shirt size.
• In-Person Registration: Available on race day from 7:00 AM for an additional $5.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Location: Fleet Feet Carrboro for T-Shirt and Bib pickup.
• Date & Time: Friday, Sept 19th, 4 - 7 PM.
• Discount: Participants will receive 10% off in-store purchases that weekend (Carrboro Location only).

🏆 Awards

• Categories: Awards will go to overall first, second, and third place male and female runners.
• Age Groups: Awards for top male and female runners in age groups: 15 and under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
