YCRC Walk/Run for Life

🏃‍♂️ Race Description/Details

The Walk/Run For Life is a community fundraising event benefiting the work of Your Choice Resource Center. Every year, fundraising Walkers, Runners, Littles, and their families gather for our Walk/Run for Life at the Rocky Mount Sports Complex to support YCRC’s vision to come alongside women and men facing unplanned pregnancies.

There will be a fun celebration with an official USATF certified 5k, prayer walk, toddler trot, music and more! Please bring yourself, your friends, and your family to this important event. It's a chance to be a part of the celebration reminding us He is Faithful!

💵 Registration Fees/Dates/Categories

• Racer Entry Fee: $40.00 (Day-of Registration: $50 – Card only)
• Walker Entry Fee: FREE
• Littles for Life Entry Fee: $10
• Shirts: Each runner will receive a race packet & long sleeve event t-shirt. Shirts are guaranteed when registered by Monday, August 26th.

🌳 Course

This USATF certified 5k course is every runner's dream. It is a beautiful run through Rocky Mount's green-way system. The run will feature paved running surfaces along with a wooden pedestrian bridge. You will run on the Rocky Mount Sports Complex running trails, alongside the Tar River, under bridges, and loop around at Stith-Talbot Park. This course is mixed with open sunny areas as well as mature trees and shaded running paths. This will surely be one of the most scenic 5k runs in eastern NC!

📅 Race Day Schedule of Events

• 8:00 am: Day of registration and runner packet pickup
• 8:45 am: Opening Ceremonies
• 9:00 am: Race Begins
• 10:00 am: Awards
