Color Me Mutt 5K & 1 Mile Color Walk/Run

🎨 Event Overview

Join us at the ninth annual Color Me Mutt 5K on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at NASCAR SpeedPark Smoky Mountains in Sevierville, TN!

Color Me Mutt is a fun and charitable event presented by the PARC Foundation, the charitable arm of NASCAR SpeedPark. Proceeds from the race will support Sevier Animal Care Center whose mission is to be an unwavering voice for companion animals and a loving ally to the humans who care for them, all while creating innovative solutions that prevent pet homelessness, end suffering, and support the community.

🏃 Race Details

The Color Me Mutt 5K Color Run will kick off at 8:30 a.m., with participants in the 1-Mile Color Fun Run/Walk starting after all the 5K runners. And guess what? It's a pet-friendly event! You don't need to be a dog owner to participate, but if you are, feel free to bring your furry friend along!

Register before October 10th to guarantee your preferred t-shirt size. All participants will receive a swag bag with a t-shirt, your nontoxic color packet, a commemorative pet item, a finisher medal, Unlimited Ride Wristband to NASCAR SpeedPark (valid through 2/28/2025), and your race bib.

General Pricing: October 1st to October 26th

• 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run: $50
• Pet Parade: $5
• Virtual: $35
• Group Discount: $20 discount for groups registering 5 or more participants

📦 Packet Pickup

• Thursday: October 24, 2024 - 4:00pm - 6:00pm at NASCAR SpeedPark, 1545 Parkway, Sevierville next to Tanger Five Oaks Outlet Mall
• Friday: October 25, 2024 - 12:00pm - 2pm at NASCAR SpeedPark, 1545 Parkway, Sevierville next to Tanger Five Oaks Outlet Mall

If you participate in the pre-race packet pickup, please remember to bring your race bib and color packet with you on Saturday morning. You are allowed to check in your friends and family! If you check in additional race participants for the timed 5K, please make sure that the correct race bib goes to each participant. Race Day Packet Pickup opens at 7 am!

🏅 Timed 5K Age Categories

The 5K Color Run will be a timed event with awards provided to the top overall male and female runners who finish with a dog. We will also recognize the three male and female finishers in each of these age categories:

• 14 & under
• 15-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60+

🐕 Pet Parade

Whether or not you participate in the race, any dog owner can join us for the Pet Parade! Because we love the Pet Parade so much, we're supersizing it to include five judging categories this year:

• Best Fictional Character
• Best Fun Sized: (Dogs less than 15lbs)
• Best Twinzies
• Most Original
• Ruff & Tuff

Best of Show will be presented to an overall winner from one of these categories.

📜 Basic Information

Both the Color Me Mutt 5K Color Run and the 1-Mile Color Fun Run/Walk are pet-friendly races! Again, you DO NOT need to be a pet owner to participate. For those with dogs, we love seeing all your pampered pooches each year. The color used is non-toxic and we will have water stations for both dogs and owners on the race route.

All 5K Color Run and 1-Mile Color Fun Run/Walk participants will receive a t-shirt, one packet of color, a commemorative pet item, a finisher medal, and an Unlimited Ride Wristband to NASCAR SpeedPark (valid through 2/28/2025.)

Additionally, there will be a slate of vendors promoting their businesses and selling their products – many related to the needs of our animal companions.

All virtual participants will be mailed their t-shirt, commemorative pet item, finisher medal, and Unlimited Ride Wristband to NASCAR SpeedPark after the race. Locals will be able to make arrangements to pick up their swag bags during packet pickup.

Color Me Mutt® is an annual color run for people and their dogs. It includes a 5k race, 1-mile fun run, pet parade, and sale of merchandise like t-shirts, bandannas, dog bowls, and similar items.
