Color Me Mutt 5K & 1 Mile Color Walk/Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us at the ninth annual Color Me Mutt 5K on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at NASCAR SpeedPark Smoky Mountains in Sevierville, TN!

🎉 About the Race

• Presentation: Color Me Mutt is a fun and charitable event presented by the PARC Foundation, the charitable arm of NASCAR SpeedPark.
• Mission: Proceeds from the race will support Sevier Animal Care Center whose mission is to be an unwavering voice for companion animals and a loving ally to the humans who care for them.
• Start Time: The Color Me Mutt 5K Color Run will kick off at 8:30 a.m., with participants in the 1-Mile Color Fun Run/Walk starting after all the 5K runners.
• Pet-Friendly: It’s a pet-friendly event! You don’t need to be a dog owner to participate, but feel free to bring your furry friend along!

👕 Registration Details

Register before October 10th to guarantee your preferred t-shirt size. All participants will receive a swag bag with:

• Included Items: A t-shirt, your nontoxic color packet, a commemorative pet item, a finisher medal, Unlimited Ride Wristband to NASCAR SpeedPark (valid through 2/28/2025), and your race bib.
• Entry Fee: 5K or 1 Mile Fun Run for $50, Pet Parade for $5, and Virtual for $35.
• Group Discount: $20 discount for groups registering 5 or more participants.
• Swag Bags: All participants will receive a t-shirt, one packet of color, a commemorative pet item, a finisher medal, and an Unlimited Ride Wristband.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Date: Thursday, October 24, 2024 - 4:00pm - 6:00pm at NASCAR SpeedPark, 1545 Parkway, Sevierville.
• Date: Friday, October 25, 2024 - 12:00pm - 2pm at NASCAR SpeedPark, 1545 Parkway, Sevierville.
• Race Day: Packet Pickup opens at 7 am!
• Reminder: If you participate in the pre-race packet pickup, please remember to bring your race bib and color packet with you on Saturday morning.

🏅 Timed 5K Age Categories

The 5K Color Run will be a timed event with awards for:

• Top Finishers: Overall male and female runners who finish with a dog.
• Awards: Three male and female finishers in each of the following age categories: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
• Shorter Course: The 1-Mile Fun Color Run/Walk is available for those preferring a shorter course.
• Swag Bag: You’ll still get showered with color and receive the same swag bag as the 5K participants.

🐾 Pet Parade

Whether or not you participate in the race, any dog owner can join us for the Pet Parade with five judging categories:

• Best Fictional Character: Dress your pet as their favorite fictional character.
• Best Fun Sized: For dogs less than 15lbs.
• Best Twinzies: Best duo costumes with their owners.
• Most Original: Unique costumes that stand out.
• Ruff & Tuff: For the toughest-looking pets.

Best of Show will be presented to an overall winner from one of these categories.

📋 Basic Info

Both the Color Me Mutt 5K Color Run and the 1-Mile Color Fun Run/Walk are pet-friendly races! Again, you DO NOT need to be a pet owner to participate.

• Water Stations: There will be water stations for both dogs and owners on the race route.
• More Vendors: There will be a slate of vendors promoting their businesses to attendees.
• Virtual Participants: Will be mailed their t-shirt, commemorative pet item, finisher medal, and Unlimited Ride Wristband after the race.
• Locals: Can make arrangements to pick up their swag bags during packet pickup.

Color Me Mutt® is an annual color run for people and their dogs. It includes a 5k race, 1-mile fun run, pet parade, and sale of merchandise like t-shirts, bandannas, dog bowls, and similar items. Net proceeds from the event benefit PARC Foundation, Inc., and designated charities that celebrate the bond between dogs and humans.
