HCC Hawk Run 5K--GLOW RUN

🎉 Live In-Person & Virtual Options for October 2025!

• Participation: The HCC Hawk Run 5K & 1 Mile has two options for participating in-person or virtually for 2025!
• Team Creation: Create a Team of friends, family, students, and/or colleagues! Teams will be recognized for: (1) most participants, (2) most spirited team, and (3) team that "glows" the most!
• Campus Competition: Help your campus win the Hawk Run Traveling for most participants—Sign up today!

💰 RACE PROCEEDS

• Support Scholarships: All race proceeds will go to the Hillsborough Community College Foundation for student scholarships!

In-Person Race: Saturday, October 25, 2025

• Registration Fee: $25.00 Registration
• Timing System: MyLaps Bib Tag Sports Timing System (RFID Technology)
• 5K Run/Walk: Registration 5:30-6:30 PM: Start Time: 7:00 PM (strollers allowed/no pets)
• 1 Mile Run/Walk: Registration 5:30-6:30 PM: Start Time: 7:45 PM (strollers allowed/no pets)
• Race Day Registration: $30.00

Virtual Race: Saturday, October 25 - Saturday, November 1

• Registration Fee: $25.00 Registration
• Participation: Print out your Virtual Race Bib, run/walk & then send in your results.

• Social Media: Post your pic on our race website Photos Tab, social media & enter special social media contests! #HCCHawkRun

For 5K In-Person Run: Standard 5 year groups, 14 and under, and 65 and over.

• Top Finishers: Certificates for top three finishers in each age group.

• Non-students: Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Places
• Masters: Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Places
• Student Participants: 1st Place-$250, 2nd Place-$100 and 3rd Place-$75 Cash Prizes

📸 Social Media Contests

• Upload Photos: Upload your photos to our race website Photos Tab to win prizes (Winner receives 2 AMC Movie Passes): more details will be sent to registrants!
• Family Fun Prize: For the most family members participating together! Submit a picture of your family before, during or after the event!
• Get Your Glow On Prize: For participants that "glow" the most during the race.
• Most Colorful Prize: For participants with the most colorful race outfit.
• Cutest Pet Prize: Submit a picture of you and your pet (in costume or not) participating together!
• Get Spooky Prize: For the participant who wears the "spookiest" costume.
• HCC Student Spirit Award: For HCC students who show the most spirit during the race.

🖥️ Virtual Run--Here is how it works:

• Step 1: Register to run/walk the virtual 5K or 1 mile, and invite your friends to join!
• Step 2: Pick up your t-shirt & other race swag at the HCC Brandon Campus on designated dates.
• Mail Option: If unable to pick up your race bag, we will ship it to you in the US for a fixed $10.00 fee.
• Step 3: Run/walk the distance on your own anytime between 10/25 - 11/1, either on the official HCC Hawk Run course or on a course of your choosing, and email your race results.
• Acknowledgment: Recognition for the top three virtual male and female finishers.
• Social Share: Post a picture of your run using #HCCHawkRun5K.

🏫 Pre-Race Day Packet Pick-Up:

• Location: Outside the HCC Brandon BADM 101, 1st floor, next to Admin. building
• Dates/Time: Thursday, October 23 and Friday, October 24 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM
• Mail Option: If you would like your race bag mailed to you for a flat rate of $10.00, you must register by Friday 10/17.
