Calling all dog walkers, runners, and Halloween enthusiasts! PAWS presents the 5th annual Zombie Walk & Furry 5k!
This Halloween is going to the dogs! Your pups can expect all of their favorites at the Zombie Walk & Furry 5k!
👻 What to Expect
- Treats: Treats will be provided for your furry friends.
- Exercise: A fantastic opportunity for both humans and pets to get active.
- New Pals: Meet and socialize with other dogs and their owners.
- Costumes: Enjoy the cutest costumes on display!
🏞️ Location Details
We are happy to announce that we are partnering with Gravel Road Brewing again as our starting/ending location! Utilizing the bike path and wide scenic downtown sidewalks!
Ample free parking can be found nearby, the largest lot is a block away at 26 S Broad Street! Behind the SORG Opera House.
💰 Pricing
- Early Registration: $25 a runner, through Sept. 30.
- Standard Registration: $30 a runner, from Oct. 1 through Oct. 24.
- Race Day Registration: $35 a runner, on Oct. 25.
⏰ Important Times
- 9:00 AM: Race day registration.
- 10:00 AM: Race begins.
🏆 Awards
- 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place: For pups under 50lbs.
- 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place: For pups over 50lbs.
👕 Shirts
- Price: $15 per shirt.
- Deadline: The deadline to preorder a shirt is October 1st.
🎭 Costume Contest
- Best dog costume: For the most creative dog outfits.
- Best human costume: For human participants showcasing their creativity.
- Best matching dog and owner costume: For those who coordinate their outfits!
You do not need to run with a dog to sign up. Only to win an award.
