Hate is such a drag! Show your pride and support Kent State University's LGBTQ+ Emergency Fund by participating in Drag Race 5K, part of Main Street Kent's fourth annual Rainbow Weekend.

• Location: North Water Brewing Company, Kent, OH

🏳️‍🌈 About the Race

• Format: Walk, stroll, run, or roll along the 5K route
• Fundraiser: For Kent State University's LGBTQ+ Emergency Fund
• New Route: Through the trees of the Portage Hike & Bike Trail
• Special Addition: Custom tie-dye Drag Race 5K T-shirt for participants

🌟 Ticket Information

• August 1-30: $25 + registration fee
• September 1: $30 + registration fee
• September 16-October 10: $35 + registration fee
• Inclusions: Medal, t-shirt (subject to availability), entry to End of the Rainbow Party

🎭 What is Drag?

• Definition: Performance art critiquing gender norms and allowing freedom of expression
• Attire: Makeup, wigs, outfits, accessories - express yourself with creativity
• No Restrictions: Dress as you feel comfortable and happy, or opt out of dressing in drag
• Encouragement: Use this opportunity to showcase your personality and creativity
