Reason for the Season Run

🎉 Event Overview

• Event: 5K Run & Walk
• Date: Saturday, November 29, 2025
• Location: American Reformed Church, DeMotte, IN
• Registration: Opens at 7:30 a.m.

⏰ Race Schedule

• Start Time: 5K at 8:30 am
• Kid’s Run: Free Kid’s Run starts at 9:30 am (following awards)
• T-Shirt Size: Click on "Give Away" to select your t-shirt size
• Packet Pickup: Participants can pick up their race packets starting at 7:30 am

🏃‍♂️ Race Experience

• Treats: Grab a treat after crossing the finish line!
• Awards Ceremony: Join us for the awards ceremony again this year!
• All Ages: Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome!
• Long Sleeve Tech Shirt: Each participant receives a festive long sleeve tech shirt

🏆 Race Features

• Event Shirt: Event Long Sleeve Tech Shirt
• Timing: Timing mats at the Starting Line and Chip Timing for Finish Results by T&H Timing
• Directional Signs: All turns will have directional signs
• Water Station: Water station on the course

💼 Proceeds

• Support: Proceeds from this 5k will support the Backpack Program for students of KVSC.
• Impact: The Backpack Program is designed to meet the needs of hungry children at times when other resources are not available, especially on weekends.
• Selection: Qualified students are selected by teachers and administrators.
• Resources: Students receive a backpack full of nutritious, kid-friendly food every Friday.
