• Registration: Opens at 7:30 a.m.
• 5K Start Time: 8:30 a.m.
• Kid’s Run: Free at 9:30 a.m. (following awards)
• T-Shirt Size: Click on "Give Away" to select your size

Event Details

• Tradition: Continuing the Thanksgiving Weekend tradition of the Reason for the Season 5K.
• Participants: Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome.
• Race Packet: Participants can pick up their packet starting at 7:30 a.m.
• Treats: Grab a treat after crossing the finish line and enjoy the awards ceremony.

• Timing: Timing mats at the Starting Line and Chip Timing for Finish Results by T&H Timing
• Course Signs: All turns will have directional signs
• Water Station: Available on the course
• Treats: Delicious treats following the race!
• Awards: Age Group Awards will be presented.

Support a Cause

Proceeds from this 5K will support the Backpack Program for students of KVSC. The Backpack Program is designed to meet the needs of hungry children at times when other resources are not available, especially on weekends. Qualified students are selected by teachers and administrators and sent home every Friday with a backpack full of nutritious, kid-friendly food.
