Description

• Tradition: Continuing the Thanksgiving Weekend tradition of the Reason for the Season 5k.
• Inclusivity: Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join.
• Packet Pickup: Available starting at 7:30 a.m. Includes a festive long sleeve tech shirt.
• Treats: Participants can grab a treat after crossing the finish line.

Race Features

• Shirt: Event long sleeve tech shirt.
• Timing: Timing mats at the starting line and chip timing for finish results by T&H Timing.
• Directional Signs: All turns will have signs to guide participants.
• Water Station: Available on the course.

Supporting a Cause

• Beneficiary: Proceeds from this 5k will support the Backpack Program for students of KVSC.
• Purpose: The program meets the needs of hungry children when other resources are not available, especially on weekends.
• Selection: Qualified students are selected by teachers and administrators.
• Support: Students receive a backpack full of nutritious, kid-friendly food every Friday.
