All NEW holiday tradition in Crown Point! Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26th, 8 am in Crown Point.

📍 Event Details

• Date: Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 26th
• Time: 8 am (6:45 am sign-in)
• Location: Leaving from Lake Co. Fairgrounds
• Quote: "As God as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!" ~ WKRP

🎖️ Entry Fee Includes:

• Finisher Medals: For First 500 to sign up!
• Race Timing: Chip timed 5K & non-timed 5K/2K
• Fun: Donuts & live music afterwards!
• Costume Contest: Best Costume contests during the event.
• Support: Proceeds benefit local food pantries.

⏰ Timeline of Events

• 6:45 am: Sign in/Check in
• 7:15 am: Live music begins
• 7:30 am: Costume Contest & National Anthem
• 8:00 am: 5K race starts
• 8:05 am: 2K starts
• 9:00ish: First 5K medals & Race Award medals presented

💵 Cost

• Timed 5K & Non-Timed Adults: $30
• Kids (3-12): $20
• Under 3: Free
• Shirts: Extra $16 available thru Nov. 16th

📦 Pocket Pickup Information

• Early Packet Pickup: Tuesday, Nov. 24th, 5-6 pm at Methodist Church, 352 S. Main
• Wednesday, Nov. 25th: 5-7 pm in the Industrial Bldg at the Fairgrounds
• Race Day Pickup: 6:45 - 7:45 am before the event

🏃‍♂️ Course Information

• Course Type: Flat & Fast 5K course on Crown Point streets
• 2K Course: Stays inside the park
• Suggested Time Limit: 1 hour (19 min pace) for the 5K
• Alternative: If your pace is slower than 19 minutes, please consider the 2K option

🐾 Dogs & Strollers

• Dogs: Allowed on the course but not in the building
• Requirements: Dogs must be current on their shots and on non-retractable leashes
• Strollers: Permitted, but please watch for other runners

🏅 Race Awards

• Categories: Top Overall Male & Female
• Masters: Top Masters Male & Female
• Age Groups: Top 3 Male & Female in each of the following: 0-9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+

📢 Important Notes

• No refunds will be given due to weather or for any other reason
• Registration transfers after November 1st are not allowed
• If you do not pick up your shirt at the event, unclaimed shirts will be sold after the run
