Join us for the second annual H2GO 5k on Saturday, November 15th!

🌍 Run Like Water to Support Water Innovation

This isn't your typical 5k race.

• Exclusive Access: The Run Like Water 5K is the only 5k event where runners will be able to gain an exclusive, behind the scenes look at the world renowned F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center on your route.

🏃‍♂️ Route

The race will begin and conclude on The Water Tower Global Innovation Center's campus. Opened in 2022, The Water Tower Innovation Center is a first-of-its-kind innovation hub for research, technology, and training to support innovative solutions for the water industry.

• Facility Overview: The F. Wayne Hill WRC is an award-winning advanced wastewater treatment facility located next door to The Water Tower.
• Quality Effluent: The water it cleans and returns to the environment is some of the highest quality effluent (cleaned wastewater) in the United States.
• Community Asset: The F. Wayne Hill WRC is a worldwide model for wastewater treatment, providing approximately 100 tours a year for visitors from around the world.
• Innovative Processes: During the H2Go Run Like Water 5k, you'll be able to see wastewater treatment processes in action on your route through the WRC as you race to the finish line!

❤️ Run for a Great Cause

Proceeds from the H2GO 5k go to The Water Tower Institute (501c3) for innovative water programming, such as STEM workshops for high school students to explore water careers and workforce training for individuals who would like to support their communities as water or wastewater operators. 💲 Entry Fees

• Early Bird Registration: Before September 15, 2025: $30.00
• Advance Registration: Before November 12, 2025: $35.00
• Day of Registration: After November 12, 2025: $50.00

📍 Location

The Water Tower is located at 2500 Clean Water Court Buford, Georgia 30519. Please use the main entrance at the intersection of Plunketts and Woodward Mill. The back entrance on One Water Way will be blocked off as part of the race course. Detailed directions are available on The Water Tower's website here.

🚗 Parking

Ample parking is available at The Water Tower.

The first 150 registrants will receive a H2GO 5K Tshirt!

❓ FAQs

1. Can I walk/jog? Of course!
2. Are dogs allowed? While we love our fur children, we kindly ask that they please stay home for this race due to its location at F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center.
3. Is this a stroller/family-friendly event? Yes! Strollers are permitted, and all children/minors must be under direct supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.
