About the Race
- Unique Experience: The Run Like Water 5K is the only 5k event where runners will be able to gain an exclusive, behind the scenes look at the world renowned F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center on your route.
- Official Qualifier: The Run Like Water 5K is an official qualifier for the Atlanta Journal Constitution Peachtree Road Race.
Route Details
The race will begin and conclude on The Water Tower Global Innovation Center's campus. Opened in 2022, this center is a first-of-its-kind innovation hub for research, technology, and training to support innovative solutions for the water industry.
- Award-Winning Facility: The F. Wayne Hill WRC is an advanced wastewater treatment facility located next door to The Water Tower.
- High-Quality Effluent: The water it cleans is among the highest quality in the U.S.
- Community Asset: It provides approximately 100 tours a year for visitors worldwide.
- Innovative Processes: The facility incorporates nutrient recovery and energy recovery techniques.
Run for a Great Cause
Proceeds from the H2GO 5k go to The Water Tower Institute (501c3) for innovative water programming.

Entry Fees
- Early Bird Registration: $30.00 (Before September 15, 2026)
- Advance Registration: $35.00 (Before November 11, 2026)
- Day of Registration: $50.00 (After November 11, 2026)
Location
Check-in and parking are at The Water Tower, located at 2500 Clean Water Court Buford, Georgia 30519. Use the main entrance at the intersection of Plunketts and Woodward Mill.
- Back Entrance: The back entrance on One Water Way will be blocked off as part of the race course.

Parking
Ample free parking is available at The Water Tower.
T-Shirts
Registrants who sign up by October 14 will get a guaranteed T-shirt. More shirts will be available in various sizes on the day of the race on a first come, first served basis!
