About this race
Join us for the third annual H2GO 5k on Saturday, November 14th!
This isn't your typical 5k race.
- Exclusive Access: The Run Like Water 5K is the only 5k event where runners will be able to gain an exclusive, behind the scenes look at the world renowned F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center on your route.
Official Peachtree Qualifier
- Qualification: The Run Like Water 5K is an official qualifier for the Atlanta Journal Constitution Peachtree Road Race.
Route
- Start & Finish: The race will begin and conclude on The Water Tower Global Innovation Center's campus.
- Innovation Hub: Opened in 2022, The Water Tower Innovation Center is a first-of-its-kind innovation hub for research, technology, and training.
- Award-Winning Facility: The F. Wayne Hill WRC is an advanced wastewater treatment facility that is a worldwide model for wastewater treatment.
- See It In Action: During the H2Go Run Like Water 5k, you'll be able to see wastewater treatment processes in action on your route through the WRC.
Run for a Great Cause
- Proceeds: Proceeds from the H2GO 5k go to The Water Tower Institute (501c3) for innovative water programming.
- STEM Workshops: Supports workshops for high school students to explore water careers.
- Community Training: Workforce training for individuals who would like to support their communities as water or wastewater operators.

Entry Fees
- Early Bird Registration: $30.00 (Before September 15, 2026)
- Advance Registration: $35.00 (Before November 11, 2026)
- Day of Registration: $50.00 (After November 11, 2026)
Location
- Check In & Parking: Located at The Water Tower, 2500 Clean Water Court Buford, Georgia 30519.
- Main Entrance: Please use the main entrance at the intersection of Plunketts and Woodward Mill.
- Back Entrance: The back entrance on One Water Way will be blocked off as part of the race course.

- 7:00 AM: Check In and Bib Pickup
- 8:00 AM: Race starts
- 9:00 AM: Awards Ceremony

- Free Parking: Ample free parking is available at The Water Tower.
