Run Like Water 5K

🌊 Join us for the second annual H2GO 5k!

The Run Like Water 5K is the only 5k event where runners will be able to gain an exclusive, behind the scenes look at the world renowned F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center on your route.

🏃‍♂️ Official Peachtree Qualifier

The Run Like Water 5K is an official qualifier for the Atlanta Journal Constitution Peachtree Road Race.

📍 Route

• Start/Finish: The race will begin and conclude on The Water Tower Global Innovation Center's campus.
• Innovation Hub: Opened in 2022, it's a first-of-its-kind innovation hub for research, technology, and training.
• Award-Winning Facility: The F. Wayne Hill WRC is known for high quality effluent treatment.
• Community Impact: It serves as a model for wastewater treatment with significant benefits for Gwinnett County.

❤️ Run for a Great Cause

Proceeds from the H2GO 5k go to The Water Tower Institute (501c3) for innovative water programming, such as STEM workshops for high school students to explore water careers and workforce training for individuals who would like to support their communities as water or wastewater operators. 💰 Entry Fees

• Early Bird Registration: $30.00 (Before September 15, 2025)
• Advance Registration: $35.00 (Before November 12, 2025)
• Day of Registration: $50.00 (After November 12, 2025)

📍 Location

The Water Tower is located at 2500 Clean Water Court Buford, Georgia 30519. Please use the main entrance at the intersection of Plunketts and Woodward Mill. The back entrance on One Water Way will be blocked off as part of the race course. Detailed directions are available on The Water Tower's website here.

Ample parking is available at The Water Tower.

❓ FAQs

1. Can I walk/jog? Of course!
2. Are dogs allowed? While we love our fur children, we kindly ask that they please stay home for this race due to its location at F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Center.
3. Is this a stroller/family friendly event? Yes! Strollers are permitted, and all children/minors must be under direct supervision of a parent or guardian at all times.
