Event Overview
Run for Scholarships at the 2026 Taco Trot 5K! Join us for the Taco Trot 5K, where fun and fitness meet flavor, all while supporting scholarships for students in our community!
This family-friendly event invites participants of all ages to lace up their running shoes and embrace the festive taco spirit.
Costume Contest
- Dress to Impress: Wear your best taco hat, vibrant serape, sombrero, or taco-themed shirt or costume as you make your way through the course.
- Prizes: Prizes or shout-outs for the most festive outfits!
Race Details
- Location: Sikes Lake meeting at the Wichita Falls Museum of Art.
- Start Time: Registration begins at 7:00am: race begins at 8:00am.
Swag & Goodies
- Entry: 1 for entry into Taco Fest.
- Taco Trot Shirt: For those that register before August 21, a Taco Trot shirt in your size: for those that register after August 21, a shirt that we have on hand.
- More Goodies: And more goodies for all registered participants!
Taco Fest Celebration
Taco Fest is Saturday at 2:00 PM. After the run, come to Bud Daniels in the afternoon for delicious tacos from local vendors, music, and fun at Taco Fest, the ultimate post-race celebration!
