Volusia County Schools Trails to Success 5k

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Volusia County Schools' VCS Trails to Success 5K will be an out and back course on the paved Spring-to-Spring trail of Gemini Springs Park. You will enjoy shade from moss-draped oaks, while taking in pine woods, palm hammocks and possible sightings of wildlife, along the race route.

• Community Members: $25
• VCS Employees: Free
• VCS Employee Family Members: $10
• VCS Students: $5

NO RACE DAY REGISTRATIONS WILL BE PERMITTED! NO EXCEPTIONS!!

📋 Schedule of Events

• Packet Pick-Up: Pre-race packet pick-up will be on Wednesday 11/12/25 - 11/14 from 4 PM to 7 PM at DeLand Administrative Complex, Board Room, 200 North Clara Ave., DeLand, FL 32720.
• Race Day Packet Pick-Up: Sunday, November 16, from 7 AM to 7:45 AM at the “Oak Tree Area” of the park.
• No Race Day Registration: Online registration and pre-race packet pick-up are highly encouraged.
• VCS Employees: Must bring their VCS issued ID to packet pick-up.

🏅 Awards and Celebration

Awards will be presented in the following categories: Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, and the top three finishers in 16 male and 16 female categories.

🏞️ Parking and Additional Info

• Parking: Designated parking will be available just beyond the race start/zone.
• Timing & Scoring: The race will be professionally scored and timed by Hasselmania Productions LLC. Results will be posted at the race and then online.
• Course Certification: This is not a USATF certified course, but mileage is measured as accurately as possible.

The proceeds from the race will go to offset the costs of the event, promoting good health and camaraderie while supporting VCS employee health and wellness.
