The Dream Mile (10K, 5K, 1 Mile)

Vibha's Vision: High-Quality Public Education for Every Child. Vibha is excited to bring The Dream Mile at Bond Park! There’s ONE COURSE but THREE RACES for you to choose from to challenge yourself. Try your best in 90 minutes to complete the distance of your choice and pick what you think you can accomplish! IN-PERSON 1 Mile, 5K and 10K, race options. T-shirt and finishers medal for 5k and 10K registrants and in-person prizes for multiple categories. Medal for 1 Mile finishers.

📦 Packet Pick-Up Details

• Location: Fred G. Bond Metro Park – Sertoma Amphitheater (Q5MG+26 Cary, North Carolina)
• Date: Saturday Aug 23rd between 5pm - 7pm

🏁 Race Day Details (5K/10K)

• Date: Sunday, August 24th, 2025
• Check-In Time: 7am – 7.45am  (Please allow ample time to park, walk to Kiwanis shelter to check in for the race, and then a short walk to the start line near the boathouse)
• Check-In Location: Fred G. Bond Metro Park - Kiwanis Shelter Lot, Bond Park Drive Cary, NC 27513
• Race Start Time: 8 am

Race Start Line Location: Fred G. Bond Metro Park – Sertoma Amphitheater (Q5MG+26 Cary, North Carolina)

• 5K Course: Start line is near Sertoma Amphitheater towards White Oak Creek Greenway
• 10K Course: Repeat 5K course route twice

🏃 Race Day Details (1 Mile)

• Date: Sunday, August 24th, 2025
• Check-In Time: 7.30am – 8.15am
• Check-In Location: Fred G. Bond Metro Park – Sertoma Amphitheater (Q5MG+26 Cary, North Carolina)
• Race Start Time: 8:15am

🎉 Activities Schedule

• 7:30am - 8am: Registration/Check for all participants at Sertoma Amphitheater
• 8am: 5K/ 10K Timed Race starts
• 8:15am: 1-mile race starts
• 9:30am: Award Ceremony at Sertoma Amphitheater

🚗 Parking & Other Information

• Parking: Available on a first-come first-served basis at Kiwanis Shelter, Boathouse, Boathouse overflow parking, Fields 1-4
• Weather: This will be a rain or shine event. Please dress accordingly.
• Policy: No pets or strollers are allowed on either walk/ race.
• Deadline: T-shirts and medals for all 5k/ 10k and medals for 1 Mile will be guaranteed until August 09 sign-ups.
