🎉 DESCRIPTION

• Event: The 5K Shamrock Run is a community event fun for the whole family to enjoy in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day!
• Excitement: Great opportunity to run on the last mile of the historic Wearin' of the Green St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Baton Rouge.
• Milestone: This is the 6th year for the Shamrock Run and we love the excitement it generates!
• After Party: Join us for a fabulous after party behind Moreau’s and don’t forget the 40th Wearin' of the Green, St. Patrick's Day Parade rolls immediately after the run.

🏃‍♂️ EVENT DETAILS

• Early Bird Fees: Start at $35. Registration fees start increasing January 1, 2025.
• Race Day: March 15, 2025. Race starts at 8 a.m. Parade begins at 10 a.m.
• Partnership: The Wearin' of the Green 5K Shamrock Run is proud to partner with Varsity Sports and Moreau Physical Therapy.
• Note: See you on RACE DAY!

🏅 DAY OF RUN DETAILS

• 11:00am: Race Day Packet Pickup Opens behind Moreau Physical Therapy
• 12:00pm: 5K Shamrock Run Start
• 12:00pm: Finisher After Party opens behind Moreau Physical Therapy
• 12:45pm: Awards Ceremony

🎁 REGISTRANTS

• Swag: We’re offering some really cool swag - a 16 oz shamrock pint glass, a cooling towel and drawstring backpack to the first 500 that register.
• Bib: Receive customized bib with timing chip
• Post-Race Party: Entrance to post-race party – food – beverage – entertainment!
• Medal: First 500 finishers receive an awesome 2025 Shamrock Run finisher medal

⚖️ RACE RULES

• Restrictions: Baby joggers or strollers are not allowed in the 5K race. No dogs in the race or the start/finish area. No participants with leg or foot casts.
• Enforcement: No exceptions to above rules.
• Police Support: Stragglers will be escorted off the route by Baton Rouge's finest police officers to make way for the Parade.

💵 REGISTRATION FEES

• September 13, 2024: $35
• January 1, 2025: $45
• February 1, 2025: $55
• March 1, 2025: $65
• March 12, 2025: $75
• Registration Closes: March 14 at 10 AM. There is a limit of 650 spots.

❌ CANCELLATION POLICY

• Fees: Shamrock Run Fees are non-refundable & entries are non-transferable.
• Refund Policy: No refund will be given if you cannot participate for any reason.
• Postponement: In the event of postponement or cancellation by the Organizer, fees remain non-refundable.

📦 PACKET PICKUP

• Early Pickup: Encouraged. Come grab your chipped bib and goodie bag!
• Friday, March 14: 12pm-6pm at Baton Rouge Green, Located at 2241 Christian Street, Baton Rouge, LA
• Race Day Pickup: Sunday, March 16, at 12pm behind Moreau Physical Therapy.

🏆 AWARDS

• Medals: First 500 finishers receive a unique 2025 Shamrock Run finisher medal.
• Top Finishers: Awards will be given to the top 10 male and top 10 female finishers after the race compliments of Brooks Running.
