EVENT DESCRIPTION

• Community Event: The 5K Shamrock Run is a community event fun for the whole family to enjoy in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day!
• Historic Route: It's a great opportunity to run on the last mile of the historic parade route in Baton Rouge.
• Excitement: This is the 8th year for the Shamrock Run and we love the excitement it generates!
• After Party: Please join us for a fabulous after party behind Moreau’s and don't forget the 42nd Wearin' of the Green St. Patrick's Day Parade rolls at 11:00 a.m.

RACE COURSE

• Route: Runners will head up Perkins Road, turn left on E Lakeshore Drive, loop around to E Lakeshore Drive toward Dalrymple, turn right on Magnolia Drive, then right on Perkins to Moreau PT.

EVENT DETAILS

• Registration Fees: Early bird fees start at $35. Join us for another fantastic run on the last mile of the historic Parade Route!
• Race Day: March 13, 2027. Race starts at 9:30 a.m. and the parade begins at 11 a.m.

• 8:30am: Race Day Packet Pickup Opens behind Moreau Physical Therapy
• 9:30am: 5K Shamrock Run Starts
• 9:30am: Finisher After Party opens behind Moreau Physical Therapy
• 10:15am: Awards Ceremony

REGISTRANTS

RACE RULES

• Participant Safety: For the safety of all participants, baby joggers or strollers are not allowed in the 5K race.
• Restricted Animals: No dogs in the race or the start/finish area.
• Medical Restrictions: No participants with leg or foot casts.
• Enforcement: Stragglers will be escorted off the route by Baton Rouge's finest police officers to make way for the Parade.

CANCELLATION POLICY

• Non-Refundable: Shamrock Run Fees are non-refundable & entries are non-transferable.
• Entry Rules: You shall not give or sell your bib number to anyone else.
• Event Postponement: In the event that the Shamrock Run is postponed or canceled, the fees remain non-refundable.

PACKET PICKUP

• Early Pickup: Early Packet Pickup is encouraged. If you are unable to make it at this time, race-day packet pickup will be available beginning at 8:30am.
• Friday, March 12: 12pm-6pm | Baton Rouge Green, Located at 2241 Christian Street, Baton Rouge, LA
• Saturday, March 13: 8:30am | BEHIND Moreau Physical Therapy.
• Race Start: Race starts at 9:30am.
