HES Anchor Run

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The HES Anchor Run is an event to support Haughton Elementary School. All proceeds will be designated for student resources. Join us for an exciting event and help us in supporting a local school in our community.

📍 Place

• Location: First Baptist Church Haughton, Haughton, LA

📅 Date & Starting Time

• Date: Saturday, February 22nd, at First Baptist Church Haughton
• Half Mile Fun Run: begins at 8:00am
• 5k Run: begins at 8:30am

🏞️ Course Description

• Start Location: The 5k Run will begin in the parking lot of First Baptist Church Haughton.
• Route: The 5k will run through Cornerstone Subdivision and then back to the church.
• Fun Run: The Fun Run will also start and end at First Baptist Church Haughton.

📦 Race Packet Pick Up

• T-Shirt: Pre-registered participants will receive an official race T-Shirt.
• Pickup Location: Race packets can be picked up at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport.
• Pickup Schedule:
  • Thursday, February 20th, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • Friday, February 21st, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
  • Race Day from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. at First Baptist Church Haughton.

💵 5k Registration

• Eligibility: All ages can register for the 5K.
• Early Bird Registration: $15 through Friday, January 24th.
• Standard Registration: $20 through Friday, February 14th at 3:00 p.m.
• Late Registration: $25 from Friday, February 14th at 3:01 p.m. - Race Day (not guaranteed a t-shirt).

🧒 Fun Run Registration

• Eligibility: Children 10 & under may register for the ½ Mile Fun Run.
• Flat Fee: Fun Run is $10.

☁️ Sleep in Supporter

• Support Option: If you cannot be there, but still want to show your support.
• Price: Pricing schedule is the same as 5k Registration (you will still receive a t-shirt).

🏆 Awards

• Overall Winners: Overall Male & Female winners in the 5K will receive a cash prize and a medal.
• Age Group Medals: 1st and 2nd place male and female 5K winners will receive medals in several age groups.
• Fun Run Awards: Medals will be given for Overall 1st and 2nd Place Male & Female (age 10 and under).
• Participation Ribbons: Fun run ribbons will be given to each participant.
