It's time for our Cinco de Mayo 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!
🕔 Check-in and Start Time
- Check-in: 7-7:30AM for everyone
- Start: 7:30AM
- Half Marathon Cut Off: 11am, option to start early to finish by 11am

📍 Race Location
Address - * Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.) * do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use the Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com
🚻 Event Details
- Arrival: Plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking and use the restroom.
- Restroom Note: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked that early in the morning.
- Results: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times: free pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event!
- Pacing: Pacers and crew are welcome at any time.
🏃 Race Course
- 5k: out and back route - View Route
- 10k: 2 x 5k loops
- 15k: 3 x 5k loops
- Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop - View Route
🚫 Running Policies
- Dogs: Participants are not allowed to run with dogs.
- Strollers: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
- Time Limit: 3:15 time limit for the half marathon. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com for early start.
- Finisher Medals: ALL finishers get a medal.
