🌞 Summer Solstice Race Overview

It's time for our Summer Solstice 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!

🕖 Check-in and Start Times

• Check-in: 7-7:30 AM for everyone
• Start: 7:30 AM
• Half Marathon Cut Off: 10:45 AM, option to start early to finish by 10:45 AM, please email for early start at abetterworldrunning@gmail.com

📍 Location Details

• Address: 5400 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.)
• Check-in Area: Closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave.
• GPS Recommendation: Do not use Apple Maps app, use Google Maps or Waze instead.
• Map Access: There is a photo of the map on the website www.abetterworldrunning.com

🚻 Event Preparation

• Arrive Early: Please plan on carpooling and getting there early to find parking.
• Restroom Note: Bring toilet paper just in case as the beach restrooms are not always fully stocked.
• Participant Results: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
• Photography: FREE pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event!

🏃‍♂️ Race Routes

• 5k: Out and back route Link
• 10k: 2 x 5k loops
• 15k: 3 x 5k loops
• Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop Link

🏅 Finisher Rewards

• Medals: All finishers get a medal.
• Goodie Bags: Everyone will receive a goodie bag.
• Results Posting: Results will be posted after every race on www.abetterworldrunning.com
• Photos: Free photos will be posted on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/abetterworldrunning

⏳ Additional Information

• Race Experience: We emphasize a more relaxed, fun, and personal racing experience!
• Refund Policy: NO REFUNDS NO BANDITS
• Official Times: Times and places will be posted on our website www.abetterworldrunning.com
• Strollers: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed. 3:15 time limit for the half marathon.
