Join the Dawdy Family for the "I'm a Be-Liver Laken Strong 5k with COTA" on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the Quail Creek Fire Department! One-year old Laken Dawdy has been blessed with another chance at life as a recipient of a liver transplant, and the community is rallying to raise funds for the Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA), which helps families who are facing life-saving transplants by providing fundraising assistance and family support. The wonderful residents of the Quail Creek Neighborhood are putting on this 5k for COTA in honor of Laken Strong to show that they are behind the Dawdy Family!

💰 Support and Donations

• Profits: All go to COTA in honor of Laken Strong to help with a lifetime of transplant-related expenses.
• Services: COTA's services are provided free of charge.
• Participants: All 5k participants will receive a shirt.
• Fun Run: There is also a fun run for kids 10 years and younger for $15, and the kiddos will also get a shirt!

⏰ Important Dates

Shirts are only guaranteed for those who register before Tuesday, December 31, 2024, so don't delay in signing up.

📅 Race Day Schedule

• 6:30 AM - 7:45 AM: Packet pick-up and race day registration at Quail Creek Fire Department
• 8:00 AM: Race starts
• 9:00 AM: Race finishes
• 9:15 AM: Kids Run (at park)
• 9:30 AM: Awards
