Jingle Bell 6K Run/Walk

Event Description

Put your bells on for the 22nd annual Jingle Bell 6K run/walk! Proceeds from the race benefit the “Miracle Fund” which provides assistance to improve the quality of life of long-term care residents of the Respiratory Care Center at Rockcastle Regional in Mt. Vernon, KY!

Event Details

• Date: Saturday, December 6, 2025
• Place: Renfro Valley Entertainment Center, Mt. Vernon, KY
• Start Time: 6K Run/Walk to begin at 8:30 a.m. EST
• Registration: Race-day registration to begin at 7:50 a.m.

• Pre-registration Fee: $25 - deadline Wednesday, Nov. 19
• Registration Fee: $30 from Nov. 20 through 8:15 a.m. race day
• Race Series: Race 12 of 12 in the 2025 County-Wide Stride race series

Course

The 6K Run/Walk highlights historic Renfro Valley. Aid and water station will be located at the turnaround. Officials will direct and supervise the course. The Run/Walk will start and finish at the Renfro Valley Entertainment Center.

• Cash Prize: $50 cash prize to overall top male and female finisher
• Awards: Unique age group awards
• Shirt Guarantee: Free commemorative long-sleeve shirt guaranteed to all participants pre-registered by Nov. 19. It is recommended that you pre-register to guarantee your shirt.
• Surprise Gifts: Santa’s Surprise Gift Grab – gift packages will be scattered along the course for participants to scoop up for cash, gifts or coal!

• Hospitality: Hospitality area with refreshments and snacks
• Costume Contest: Award will be given for the best holiday-themed costume.

Awards

• Overall Winners: Overall male and female race winner and top three male and female finishers in each age group: 12-under: 13-19: 20-29: 30-39: 40-49: 50-59: 60-69: 70-79, 80+
• Top Walkers: Top three male and female walkers (walkers are also eligible for age group awards)
• Registration Notice: If you plan to register as a walker, you must walk the entire race. Please register as a runner if you plan on running and walking.

Free Kids Club

• Free Registration: Kids age 4-12 run FREE! No shirt included in registration, but may be added on for additional fee.
• Incentives: Kids will receive a commemorative silicone bracelet each race! Collect 7 bracelets to receive a $25 gift card and custom Kids Club t-shirt at the end of the 2025 series!
• Eligibility: Kids must run or walk - no strollers - to be eligible for awards and incentives. (Age group awards for runners only)
