Join us on National Service Dog Day, September 20, 2025, at Old Mill Park in Fredericksburg for an unforgettable event that celebrates our American heroes and their life-saving mission. The 9K for Semper K9 is more than just a race: it’s a symbol of unity, compassion, and support for our disabled veterans.

🏆 Race Information

Lace up your shoes and get ready to run or walk in our community-friendly 9K event.

• All fitness levels are welcome! Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or prefer a leisurely stroll, this event is for you.
• Bring the whole family! Including furry friends! Walkers and strollers are encouraged to join in the fun.
• Professionally Timed event.
• Prizes for race winners.

👶 Kids’ Fun Run

Little ones can take part in their very own .9 Mile Fun Run, starting at 5:15 pm.

Old Mill Park is our start/finish line with the course on Canal Path, a picturesque backdrop for our event, surrounded by natural beauty along the Rappahannock River in downtown Fredericksburg.

By participating in the 9K for Semper K9, you’re helping us continue our mission of providing service dogs to disabled American veterans, transforming their lives in profound ways.

💰 Fundraise for Incentives

• Challenge Coin: Each athlete who raises $100 will receive a Semper K9 challenge coin!
• Top Fundraisers: The top ten individual fundraisers will win a swag bag full of exclusive Semper K9 gear & a $50 gift certificate to the Semper K9 Merch Shop!
• Prizes: Top individual & team fundraisers will win prizes.
• Additional Challenges: Fundraising challenges to win prizes included starting in August!
