Chamber 5K on the Runway

Please - when you are getting directions for the race, you must include the word NORTH in the address.

Once you arrive at this address, you will enter the gate on your right, and park in the large paved lot.

Race Overview:

• Date & Time: February 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM
• Location: Vero Beach Regional Airport taxiway and runway
• Details: A 5K event that is professionally chip-timed
• Accessibility: Flat, paved course suitable for strollers and wheelchairs

All proceeds from the race will benefit the Indian River County Chamber of Commerce and the Indian River County Leadership Foundation.

Early Packet Pickup and Registration – Indian River County Chamber of Commerce – 1216 21st Vero Beach, FL 32960

10 AM - 2 PM

Race Day Schedule:

• 4:00 PM: Race Day Packet Pickup & Registration Opens
• 4:45 PM: Race Day Packet Pickup & Registration Closes
• 5:00 PM: 5K Start
• Awards: Ceremony immediately following the race

Important Rules from the Airport:

• Track Safety: No one is permitted to leave the track/runway at any time during the race. Please do not go on the grass.
• Equipment Restrictions: No sporting equipment such as frisbees, soccer balls, etc. allowed.
• Finish Line Protocol: After finishing, please follow the directed exit route to the water and snack station.
• Trash Disposal: Please make sure to dispose of any trash or race materials in the designated bins.
